This is a very nice hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a casino hotel. The bars are plentiful and the casino is close at hand. There are plenty of food options and a cool automotive theme to the place. Having a little Cesar's with hot n ready pizza at hand is both dangerous and brilliant.

I'm not much of a gambler so I didn't check that out all that much. I had a king corner suite on the 12th floor and it was nice. It was very clean and the bed was very relaxing. Our TV system was down however. Talked to the front desk and they said it was the weather. I wanted to order room service so they had to look for a menu and then I had to call to order. The gentleman said he would talk to the manager and call me so I could get the discount for the room service even with the TV issue but never got either. Then I had my do not disturb light on and had housekeeping knocking at my door starting at 9:30 even though check out isn't till 11am. I did like that everything was accessible without having to go to the casino floor.

This is a nice hotel just outside Downtown Detroit. Our view was great, as we could see the bridge to Canada and the downtown area. The rooms are very nice and modern. The staff were courteous and helpful. The only turn-off for me was the lack of ventilation in the casino to compensate for the smoking. Overall, good experience and nice amenities.

Great place to gamble. Good payouts. Friendly employees and overall great environment. After going here for awhile it feels like home. The food is fantastic, the lounge areas are very relaxing, the waitresses are fast and friendly and beautiful people. The hotel rooms are very nice and relaxing. The beds are so comfortable. It's something magical that's has to be experienced. After going to sleep in these rooms I wake up feeling like I just had a massage in my sleep Room service is fast, and very generous. The gift shop is a "must visit". Visit visit visit. Even when you lose you win here

I loved staying here! The hotel, valet, casino and restaurant staff are all exceptionally great. The hotel was very clean, great condition, and our room even got upgraded for no cost, just because they could. The room was amazing. Best hotel I gave ever stayed in. Everything was comfortable, the shades made me have a great night sleep, and there was 24 room service. Already made another reservation to stay here on my next Detroit trip.

I love staying at the Motor city hotel. The other problem I am having at the time is I get my free room card and I called the next day and all rooms were gone. I come there often. I am handicapped and enjoy your free room so I can rest and go back down later to the casino and play more. My husband's free night came the following day in the mail. We again tried calling but still no rooms. That was his first free room so he is very disappointed. Why do you wait to send out the cards. They said we can call everyday in the morning but so far no cancellation. How do u know in advance if you are going to get a free room? Thank you. Also, my other problem I am having is the bathroom only has one handicapped stall. It is almost impossible to get the use of it. Non handicapped people are always using it. I know when the attendant is there I have a better chance of using the one toilet. My favorite Casino is Motor City. I hope you can help with my response. Patricia Sarna.

The parking lot is so disgusting. The smell of urine & proverty is extremely strong. Didn't eat. The staff was very slow on serving so we opted out for drinks instead. Very light crowd which i assumed was convenient and mellow but after further reviews it was because of the lack of winning there. Undecided on another visit. But the odor in the lot to and from your vehicle is torturous. Get it together. Power wash NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!! Customers deserve better.

I go for the crab legs. MGM has bigger ones but theirs are so much better. They are delicious. The casino its self is very nice. The dealers at the table are very helpful and actually have personalities. The bar is also nice. I like the bartenders here more than at MGM. Waitresses seem never to be around on the floor though.

The rooms are very nice. Good service. Great selection of gaming options. Wish they had a better mid range priced dinner option. I don't care for buffets but I also didn't want pizza, hot dogs etc. Or $100 a plate food.

We come every year from Toronto Canada, we love MotorCity Casino Hotel. The service and staff are excellent and professional. The restaurants and facilities at the hotel/casino are top notch. Our family includes our 4 children so the hotel is appropriate also for our children. They love all the different food choices (Little Caesars, Grand River deli and burgers). Us adults also enjoy the Iridescence 4 star diamond rated restaurant and their Assembly line buffet. My husband and I as well as my mother love to relax in their huge 13,000 square foot spa this is our time away from the children.

We stay at this Hotel for all of our Detroit festivals such as the Jazz festival on labor Day weekend and Woodward Dream Cruise Event in the summer. Congrats to the New Little Caesars arena opening and Kid Rock playing in his own home town! We look forward to many more years coming to Detroit and enjoying our wonderful stay at MotorCity Casino Hotel. Its now our family tradition! Thanks MotorCity, for great memories for our family!

It's been a while since going to Motor City Casino, but decided on a whim to go. I'm glad I did. I like how they have the free bev and coffee stations throughout, plus it gives you a chance to explore different areas. Although there was a long line to.get your players club card, it went by rather quickly and I was surprised to learn that since it was my birthday month I was given a birthday gift. I saw games I recognized and enjoyed playing. The atmosphere was alive and I felt.fun to be there.

I love coming down to gamble and have a meal. My parents and I ate at the buffet which was excellent as always. The staff at the buffet is always extremely nice and the food selection is great. Would recommend to anyone coming down for an event.

I have been to over a hundred hotels, smallest to the best, but I have never had such a worst breakfast ever. Breakfast room is smaller than regular rooms. Just a few tables. Tables are not cleaned since they have only one staff sitting on a chair. No breads which is a basic food. Fruits were of poor quality. Entire hotel is non smoking but still it smells everywhere. To that extent that our cloths were then smelling smoke! Water is warm and not hot. If you want to play Casino, you can come here otherwise this is possibly the worst managed hotel I have ever been to.

The rooms are huge with amazing bathrooms. The bathtubs beg you to take long soothing baths. The beds are extra comfortable. There is a plethora of restaurants easily accessible that serve a variety of foods, so most cravings can be fulfilled. The staff is friendly and prompt when asking for assistance of any kind. There are bands that play in different areas of the casino floor and an AMAZING concert venue attached to the hotel where I have seen many different bands play. All in all, this is a great place to stay a night away from the world.

One of the first 3 casinos in Detroit. I've been to Iridescence (restaurant top of the hotel), have played at the casino, and visited the hotel rooms. I'd give it thumbs up. I used to own a bar, and after I closed, and couldn't go to sleep, I sometimes would pop down there and play couple of hands of blackjack. When bar owners, and people in the business, frequent other bars, it means something. I know the chef of Iridescence was featured on Food Network and has a unique menu. There are services at the hotel (massages, kinetics, therapies) that would give you an excuse to not go only if from "out of town", but book a room for "Our of the house".
