I want to say the front desk staff are great this is a verynice hotel they really take care of you. I’m a celebrity Chef and my reservation at the Sheraton got messed up and this place accommodated me. Utsay and Amita at the front desk are truly the best hospitality people always try to make you feel at home. I recommend this place for everyone to stay when I’m the area. Thanks

Worst experience. 2nd time with extended stay and I’ve gotten horrible service late at night, when i’m exhausted and only looking to have a good night stay.
My partner got hung up on when asking if there are anymore shampoo or conditioners available, since we were given none
I called front desk once again asking why he had hung up on him and if he could please provide us with some more. Black male got loud and proceeded to insult over the phone, then hung up again.
Exhausted, I called customer service, where all calls are recorded, and the representative heard the young man yelling, name calling and fast pacing back and forth at us at the main entrance (front desk), then tossed shampoo bottles over the desk to get us to finally leave (all caught on camera).
They offered a refund (which we never got) and a free night stay at the same location regardless of the fact that I said I would never want to go back to that location.
We only had that option and nothing more
Will never stay there again, or any location.
Regardless of the low prices, I don’t deserve to be treated that way. No customer does.

Due to the fact that I travel extensively and stay in hotels on a weekly basis as a result of my job, I usually don't take the time to write reviews. However, I must take a moment and acknowledge the staff at this location for what in my opinion has been the best customer service I have come across in a very long time.
From the moment I arrived and it was very late and obvious that it had been a long day, the Front Desk associate Utsav I believe his name was did his best to make the process smooth and as quick as he could.
The room had the basic ammenities one expects to find in a budget style hotel and it was clean and comfortable. What stood out to me was the next morning every member of staff I came across took the time to stop and actually smiled and acknowledge me with a cheerful good morning. This was also noticed later on during the afternoon when I returned.
As I mentioned, the hotel is clean and seems well maintained, but I could say the same about many hotels. Where the difference lies is the staff and the way they appear to be happy to help you and not give the impression they are doing you a favor. I must say kudos to the management team for doing whatever they are doing because the entire team seems to be on the same page as far as providing A+ customer service.

I stayed at this hotel for more than 30 days while working in D.C.! The staff members were very attentive to me and other guests. The room was excellent for the price I paid, and the grab and go breakfast hit the spot while driving to work. If you get a chance I recommend that you stay here while visiting the area!

Very convenient location, Quick access to highways and attractions in Washington DC area. Very competent staff, friendly. Quiet stay, very important factor to us. Cleanness is another factor which I have to emphasize here! This hotel deserves the five star rating from me

My stay at the Extended Stay at Fair Oaks Mall was totally fabulous. I enjoyed the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the responsiveness to requests and the excellent location, within walking distance from the mall, right close to I-66 and to Washington itself. Among the many places I have stayed, I felt I got the best value for the money I paid in the Washington Metro area. The rooms are comfortable and the maintenance is good. No complaints. Stayed there for three months!!

Check in experience was horrible! First given a smoking room (smells bad). After a lengthy discussion to change the room, I was given a room that was occupied by another guest!!! Old furniture, missing amenities (no shampoo in bathroom) and unprofessional staff. The only thing I liked about this hotel is the location, close to a shopping mall and easily accessed from the highway. Absolutely not recommended.

Cannot be beat for the price. Staff is exceptionally helpful and rooms were clean. Only a 10-minute ride from the Metro, this is hotel provided to me and my brother a great opportunity to hop on the Metro and see downtown DC.

I like it, It's clean, quite and comfortable I will say It's excellent if I will not consider the the free WI-FI service offered, the internet access bad it very slow. If I'm not in business trip and I need good and steady internet access it would be my first choice.
