My room and the hallways smelt absolutely disgusting, almost threw up multiple times.. it seriously smelt like a soup kitchen serving up day old Indian food. Plus the dryers didn’t work. as long has you don’t have to do laundry and have zero sense of smell you might enjoy your stay.. comfy beds and nice staff. Other than that I have nothing good to say about this hotel.
Decent rooms. Relatively quiet. Within walking distance to lots of good food options as well as a Wal Mart grocery store, so you won't go hungry if you're staying here for a while.
It's shown as a 2.5 stars on travel sites. The rooms are updated and nice and I'd give them a 3. No coffee or hotel bar has to be the reason for the lower rating. The small kitchen with full sized fridge just means snacks and drinks in the room! At a discount price it's a great deal and at regular price there's still a good value.
I've stayed at this location several times now, all of which have been the same. The rooms are always dirty, probably since they don't "service" the room if you're not going to be there for more than a week. This particular stay I'm on my third week right now and have had my room "cleaned" twice. I had to change my own sheets and pillow covers the first time because they didn't bother to do that. When I went to the front desk and asked for a new blanket and comforter they acted like it was the end of the world to "find" one. My counters didn't get wiped down, toilet wasn't cleaned, both sinks not cleaned, no vacuuming, or mopping. My towels got swapped out with some that looked like they'd been through a grinder, and I didn't even get replenished all the ones they took. I asked the management what their work scope was when they service the room, all of the things I just mentioned were supposed to be done. My second cleaning they did all of what they were supposed to do but my floors that were not sticky are now sticky, go figure. The microwaves suck, you have to double your times which burns the outsides and then you still have a cold/frozen middle. You would think an extended stay would have some type of dresser or something to put your clothes in but this location does not. You're lucky if your room has a hanger in its nook/closet area. For being a non smoking hotel my furniture has burn marks, and smells of stale air/smoke. The TV's are awful. The signal is weak and grainy on the screen and the picture is very dim. The bed has three crappy pillows, and a stiff mattress. I wake up with a headache and sore muscles everyday. The clientele here sucks which I guess is to be expected. Doors opening/closing/slamming at all hours of the night, usually at least one domestic disturbance per week that includes yelling, screaming and/or violence that ends with the cops being called. If you're looking for someone at the front desk during the day good luck. If you go out front you'll have a better chance of finding one or several employees smoking if you really need something. If you plan on doing laundry make sure you've got a sack full of quarters because there isn't a change machine, not sure if they make change at the front desk since no one is there. Overall this place is terrible. If you have a choice of whether to stay here or not - don't. If you don't have a choice this is what you have to look forward to.
The woman working the front desk was kind and thoughtful! The room is consistent with other Extended Stay experiences I've had in the past. The hotel seemed to be a tad bit older as the grout in my bathroom had seen better days. The walls had a few dings a scratches. The place was clean but had put in its time. Overall, the experience was fine and I would stay there again. My main reason for choosing this location is how easily you can walk to the Hertz office.
The location is convenient since there are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The beds are very hard and the pillows aren't the greatest. I woke up with body aches every morning and couldn't sleep through the whole night. The service is okay i suppose. I hardly had any encounters with the staff other than at check in so i can't say much About it. But it is clean.
If you call granola bars and packaged muffins breakfast, then you'll be satisfied with the "free breakfast". Literally had to run the shower for 5 min for the warm water to turn on. The kitchenette took up most of the room. There is barely any space between the end of the bed and wall, literally 12 in of walking space, and whoever sleeps next to the window will freeze due to bed being so close to the a/c unit, about 2 feet away. We were here for 2 nights, and nobody came to clean our room. Are we suppose to tell them we want it cleaned??? And no ice machines on the propertythat's a first.
Decent stay but dirty placethey renovated but you can see the previous guest marks everywhere in the room, such as food crumbels, can marks, etcthey need to clean the rooms better after check out and during weekly house keeping services. You can hear sound from the next room, from the hallway, from the outside smoking party area. Few good things so 1 star they are, otherwise 0.
Perfect three day stay. Clean, new, full kitchen. Not one complaint.
Staff has been very accomodating and friendly. They have done a tremendous amount to take care of me during my stay.
Convenient location, decent amenities, friendly staffgood value for the price
The hotel room seemed clean but had a foul odor and the floors were sticky. The comforter had stains on it when we first arrive and dried on food ( at least I hope it was food) and the front desk said they would get to it if they could. The bed was large but uncomfortable so I went to the front desk again to see about an extra pillow and they flat out said no. Overall, I stayed at 2 hotels during this trip and there was no comparison. I will never stay at and Extended Stay again, especially not this one. One suggestion - don't put little notes around the room telling me to go to the front desk for help if you really don't want people asking for help, just saying.
Recently updated, nicer than most ESAs, but staff is hit or miss. Some, like Jonathan (always cheerful, always helpful) and the asst mgr (very helpful and professional). Others, like the general manager need to be reminded that 'customer' is the first word in customer service. Your guests are the REASON you are in business, NOT an interruption to your business.
