Clean but needs some serious remodeling, furnishings and decor seem mid 1980s. Location is close to the freeway and not far from shopping and a few restaurants, but not really walking distance. Staff slow to come to the front desk to waiting customers, we saw this on many occasions. Once there they are helpful and courteous.

Adequate, Very clean, safe, well kept but a "blah" experience. Room was spartan, poorly decorated, institutional feeling. Not a warm, welcoming place.

Worst place we ever stay. The hotel staff was rude. We saw roaches on the bed and we asked them to change the room. The staff was asking for an evidence of the roach. Finally they changed the room and promised for a roll on bed, but during the shift change the new supervisor was rude and did not give the roll on bed. Worst customer experience we ever had.

I really feel very comfortable. The kitchen is very helpful -if you prefer self cooking. Also the supermarket, big retail are very nearby - even walkable distance. I always prefer ESA during all my business trips to Novi Detroit

The room was clean and the bed was excellent. Getting ahold of the front desk is impossible. There are hardly any toiletries in the bathroom so bring all your own shampoo and soap etc.. The breakfast bar is just granola bars and juice. I guess there really isn't such a thing as a free breakfast. And there is a nice little kitchen but nothing in it, not even a coffee maker. You can order it but again good luck getting ahold of the front desk.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. It has everything you need for a short or not-so-short stay, although there's nothing particularly impressive. The breakfast-to-go is not as good as in other hotels.

Worst customer service known to man. Whoever it is that you have work overnights needs to be terminated immediately. Refused to check me in and went to the back and did not come out. I had to call three customer service reps who put me in the hotel down the street after two hours of waiting. The rep there had pajamas on at the front desk and did not have a name tag same as the last one. Can't tell you which one was ruder, the one gossiping about me to the last rep or the one who walked away. I will never stay at a extended stay ever again.

We stayed at the ES in Northville and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was very nice to us and our rate was cheaper than expected for such short notice. On top of that our room had a fridge, microwave and stove which was very nice! Will definitely be staying there again!

I was in this hotel for few days and overall experience was very nice. The location is quite convenient for novi region. Rooms were tidy. The service was prompt. Extended stay Novi will always be my first choice whenever I will need to stay in Novi and nearby area.

Staying here with my hubs and two cats going on 2 months now while waiting to purchase a house. You knowit's way better than I expected it was going to be. The king room is spacious with a perfect little kitchen. The staff is super friendly. Of course there are little annoyances one is going to observe with such a long stay but nothing I can really complain about. Okay, the only bad thing and its a personal preference thing is smokers stand right by the front door so you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in the building even though there is a sign posted not to smoke within 100 ft. That is the fault of rude people though.
