Rod and gun offered pretty standard offerings for lunch. The fried gator was pretty good. The only real complaint is that they don't accept credit or debit so don't forget cash.

The gun club has unfortunetly had to suspend operations starting Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2017 due to the threat of inclimate weather forecasted from Hurricane Irma. The club hopes to reopen at an unspecified date, depending on damage that may or may not be caused by the storm.

Ok, sure this place is great for some folks but, as the name suggests, it is not the place for vegetarians. Honestly, even the salads had grilled something on them . Our sever had to 'ask the chef' to come up with a simple salad with tomatoes and cukes. The Inn walls are adorned with taxidermy and there is no air conditioning but does have an interesting history.

Very neat place, the food wasn't very good but so well worth seeing the place. I would not hesitate to go back again. The staff was great. The whole town is pretty cool!

Had lunch there with the family. 5 of us waited over an hour for our food without much of an explanation of what was taking so long. Figured out that it must have been because they were short staffed in the kitchen. The food was pretty good for the short menu that was mostly bar food. Then there was the building itself. It was interesting to say the least. Part rustic in a "lost in time" sort of way, part Disney Haunted House where it was old and had a manufactured eerie feeling. That being said, there was no doubt that this place was legit and, perhaps, amazing in season -- most definitely cool back in the day. Not sure what to make of it now but it was good food, rough service, and mostly intreguing ambiance. Not sure I would rush back, but I would give it another shot. Oh, and they only accept cash. Take that for what you will.

Ambience exactly what you would expect in a remote, south Florida location - with all the comforts. Perfect place to throw a theme party or wedding. Lunch service fast and friendly
