We used the motel as our homebase for exploring the everglades, doing an airboat and kanu tour. The rooms were freshly renovated, possibly due to the damage from hurricane Irma and very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking right in front of the room. Totally quite at night as long as you don't need to turn the AC on - it's really noisy. Breakfast, dinner and lunch is available right next door at the Island Cafe.

Great motel, large clean room with good bathroom, TV and corner kitchen with microwave toaster & hob so can cook, make breakfast, coffee etc. Big comfy beds, plenty of space for 4 in room with 2 queen beds.

Rooms were roomy and clean. There were some issues with the wifi but the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very close to the national park and a cute breakfast place right next door. Would definitely stay here again!

Verizon and AT&T cell service is spotty, wifi is available but unreliable. Rooms have a kitchenette and a hot plate. Which is nice if you plan on an extended stay. Town is pretty quiet.
Hotel is on the main stretch through town, and is next door to a nice cafe that gives you a discount when you mention you are a guest.response / report this review -

The price is right, nice staff, rooms are clean, decent beds, great location, corner rooms have full refrigerators, and you can back your boat up to the room and hook up battery chargers for your trolling motors. So if you are fishing choko, this is a good home base. You can use the boat ramp across the street, but it pretty shallow in places getting out to the gulf.

Excellent place! SO very clean & updated plus a comfortable bed as well! Use of the bikes are very convenient to explore the town. Every time we visit The Everglades from Sarasota FL, we stay here.

Easy access with parking for boat and trailer. Rooms have been redone and very nice. Ramp right down street easy to get in and out. ALERT if you have tall boat will need to use different ramp as there are some low bridges on way out. Would stay here again for sure.
