Horrible. My father in law got neck surgery and the nurses refused to get him water, ice packs or clean blankets during his recovery. I asked the nurse politely four times and the nurses always had a attitude problem with me. I eventually went to get water and ice packs my self at a drug store and came back and they yelled and me for getting him water and ice packs elsewhere. The food at the cafeteria is also terrible and undercooked. They will not let you bring in outside food. If your not going to do your job then I will. Then the doctor was trying to give him a insulin shot. My father in law does not have diabetes and he does not need and I refused it. Thank god I was around because I would of filed a lawsuit if that happened. The only reason we went to this hospital is because the specialist that saw him does his surgery here. I have been to three different hospitals around Chicagoland and this was the worst. Service by the nurses is terrible and they are extremely understaffed. Use caution when going here.

My mom had surgery and they removed her EXPENSIVE diamond bracelet and haven’t given it back. She called and s they said they didn’t have it. My mom had it on before surgery and after it was gone.

We've been waiting here for the ER room for 4+ hours after a major car accident. Where our car was totaled. Accident happened at 9:20pm. After police and medical team came we were moved to the hospital (10:38 pm)

The nurse comes now and puts on a neck brace. After 3.5 hours of waiting, At this point if the neck was broken I'd most likely be dead. Instead I'm just sitting here in pain from a whiplash and have a toad neck. Still waiting on x-rays btw, which is another person and another 40 minute wait according to one nurse. They are going to start charges from the moment we walked in even if they had us waiting outside and didn't actually have an ER room ready for the first 3.5 hours.

This has to be a joke of a hospital if ever. I fully respectful of the profession and believe Dr's and Nurse's do save lives, but either this hospital just dosnt care or the people here are so far gone and hate life so much they have no sense of urgency.

Some ER this turned out to be.

I twisted my ankle and couldn't put any weight on it, so I went to the ER. I was in and out within two hours. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Always excellent care. When something isn't working, they make changes for the better. My family has had babies there, multiple surgeries, outpatient services. All superior to many other hospitals in the area.

I have visited here probably hundreds of times over the past several years and have never had a bad experience with anyone, whether they're a doctor, nurse, or someone working in the cafeteria or pushing a gurney. The people at every level, from the minute I walk in and interact with the front desk, are just really great. Fantastic hospital with the kindest people I've ever met. A wonderful place--keep up the great work.

Evanston North shore hospital in Chicago Ill. is the best hospital for cancer patient. Dr. Merrell the Oncologist and Dr. Bales the surgeon. They are the dedicated professionals that can provide expertise on their specializations. The nurses in ICU are true professionals that can provide compassionate care. They are very kind and supportive to the family of the patients. Outstanding customer service! Even the nurses in palliative care unit they are very attentive to the patient. While the patient is in hospice care, the family is offered with massage therapy. The patient is cheered by a serenade. I've never seen or known a hospital that provide these extraordinary services. The social worker is much a wonderful person doing above and beyond her duties. Well done To all Evanston staff. My family will rate you above five (5) STARS!!.
