Very nice place to visit. We saw turtles and butterflies in the park and lots of birds on the boardwalk to the pier.

Anchored our trawler on the south side of coon key for the night. Very quiet. Nice place to be. Easy in and out to the Gulf. Dolphins under the bridge at sunset.

Can be hot and buggy mid day so come prepared (water/repellent). Good flat hiking through interesting terrain, Can rent watercraft and electric boats here.

This aquatic preserve is a very nice, informative drive. A lot of different kinds of wildlife can be seen. It also has great scenic views. Good for everyone to see and visit.

The weather is great and there is a good amount of places to explore. The only drawback I experienced was the water. I visited at the end of July and the water was brown with about 8 inches of visibility. Other than that in the shallow water you could see starfish and other aquatic life just watch out for stingrays

Love paddling in bay. Both high and low tides are nice and offer unique experience. Multiple passes to access Gulf. Multiple rivers open into bay. Dolphin, sting ray, fish, sunsets; gorgous piece of nature.

Nice nature preserve. I here there are goffer turtles here. Clean public restrooms. Very close to the very end of Fort Myers beach. And if you are here at 8:30 am, you can see the key West express take off and watch the dolphins jump in its wake
