The salon offers a beautiful atmosphere which encourages peace and calm the moment you walk in. Shannon is masterful at facials, identifying problem areas and paying particular attention to my skin care needs. Her product-line leaves your skin feeling refreshed, clean and soft. In addition, her waxing skills are paramount to any other. She is an Artist when it comes to shaping eyebrows. Highly recommend this salon and Shannon for your skin care and waxing needs.

I have curly hair and finding someone that knows how to cut it is difficult. I will look no further! They were very friendly and knew a lot about the latest cuts and styles. Natalie took the time to look at my hair first, check out the previous cut, ask me what I use in it, really got to know me first. They were fast and effective! I loved my cut, and she blew it dry so quickly, and it turned out awesome. I will definately go back, and recommed them to everyone!

I went there for a haircut and loved it. The staff really listens to you and makes you feel special. The atmosphere at Essencia is so calming and relaxing. I got exactly what I wanted and already booked my next appointment for other spa services.

As a birthday present I was given multiple services at Essencia Spa & Salon. The atmosphere is absolutely intoxicating. I could have easily taken a nap in the lobby (or the steam room) I'd definitely recommend trying one of the enzyme peels. Afterwards I was a little pink, but the following two weeks my skin was glowing. If you want relaxation and results definitely try a service at Essencia, believe me you won't regret it.

I have noticed that there are a lot of spa's/salons in Amesbury. I cannot imagine that any can compare with Essencia. The first time I set foot in this place, I was impressed with the calm and peaceful atmosphere. Marie gave me a tour of the facility. Hair salon, manicure/pedicure room, his and hers shower rooms, massage rooms and facial/treatment rooms. All that plus a wonderful steam room. We have gone twice now for couples massages. Amanda and Janice are both great massage therapists. After our massages, they brought us robes and we sat in the steam room for awhile. We freshened up, and were seated in the spa waiting area where we were served refreshing cucumber water, cheese and crackers and chocolate covered strawberries. Pure heaven. Relatively new, Essencia has a limited staff. Because of this, you want to book in advance - I assure you that it is well worth it (there is a reason that the word "Therapy" is in the title)!!!
