Seriously, worst coffee in town! Given its convenient location, I tried to give this place a second, third, and even forth chance. However, their American, pour over, and french press coffees are some of the worst brews I've tried. The staff is usually friendly but, if taste is what you are looking for, I would highly recommend to look for other places around that not only offer wider selection and better quality of beans, but also are thoughtful about how to brew good coffee.

Loved the atmosphere and place. Great and cheap coffee. Tried my first French press there. Totally blew my mind. All the writings on the wall in the basement floor and restrooms made it very authentically student-friendly. Wonderful staff!

Super friendly staff with plenty of options for patrons. They also have vegan options which is greatly appreciated since Dancing Dog is a bit of a trek from campus.

Similar to other espresso royales on campus. Good prices, medium good brewed coffee. Their whole beans are pretty good and well priced. I recommend the Guatemalan beans, my fave.

This is hands down the best Espresoo Royale in town! I've gone here for years and their staff is always amazing! They are very friendly and helpful. They definitely omit an energy of fun and make it a very welcoming place.

Good deals on a weekly basis, especially if you keep your eye open. Espresso tends to be a little more burnt that most places (not bad, just a different taste). Overall good coffee, especially for the relatively low price you can get when paying attention to active deals

Brewed coffee is hit and miss, sometimes tastes like coffee was very old or equipment was not cleaned between brews. Espresso drinks with a pastry are surefire though. Nice place to study if you like background noise.
