Worst waitresses in town, your lucky if they ask to refill your drinks and it's usually at the end when you are trying to get your check, because you have been done eating for 15 minutes, the last 2 times we just had to go up and ask the cashier to get our check. The time before the waitress announced the she got stuck with our table and we had very poor service. I would never go back, except my wife and daughter like the salad bar and the food is pretty good.

Reasonable food in a reasonable atmosphere. But salad bar by the ounce at a sit down restaurant? Not a lot of variety or healthy choices on the menu.

The salad bar was fresh, and quite well stocked. The phosphates are amazing - if you've never had one, you really should try one. My wife says she could make a meal or of the ”dessert dippers". I love their Reuben!

Love the charm of this place. We have been going there for more than a decade now. Though vegetarian options are limited, we typically love whatever we have tried there and service is always friendly and great. We went there this weekend for a late breakfast, it was still crowded. We had a long wait for table and then for food. Well, this goes to show the popularity of this place. The server was very friendly and tried to get our little ones food as early as he could because he was getting restless and very hungry. As usual the food was good. Good enough that we pounced on it before I could take any pictures :). I took some pictures while we were waiting.

Never had a bad experience @ Courier in 10 years. Service is great and the half soup/half sandwich lunch options are my favorite. If your in a hurry though, going at peak time is not advisable.

We love going to The Courier Cafe, especially for breakfast. Their menu offers a wide variety of options at any point in the day. Some of our favorites include: blueberry pancakes, biscuits and gravy, burgers, classic Ruben, and their milkshakes. Definitely a place to check out if you are in Urbana. It can get pretty busy on weekend mornings so plan ahead.

The service, burger, and fries were ok but the milkshake was amazing. It tasted awesome and you get a big glass with whipped cream plus the tin with extra! So good! I would definitely come back just for that.

Historic and quaint, the Courier Cafe is one of the oldest historic buildings in Champaign-Urbana. With great food and an efficient wait staff this is a great place to take the family or your significant other. Reasonably priced and good quality food. I recommend the chocolate milk shake after dinner. I also recommend reading the history of the building on the back of the menu.

We were from out of town and wanted something other than panera. Great place with some good vegetarian options. Standard menu options with some out of the ordinary additions. Great atmosphere and friendly wait staff.

Their biscuit and gravy is nothing to complain about. Great taste and flavor and not to mention they drown it in gravy. Extremely generous with the portion. The almond toast that my lady had was very flavorful. The roasted almond toast can't be pass on either.

Everything on the menu is delicious. I especially love their breakfast. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The historic building is super charming, too.

Good food with great service. If you are ordering soups, make sure to order a bowl rather than a cup as the price to potion ratio makes no sense to order a cup at all. Their burgers are good here, which is surprising. They are a very classic a old (historic even) place and that shows is the décor and feeling of the place. However, that also means that the menus get worn out fairly well.
