Are those reviews bought by this therapist? This is not a very bright individual, toxically competitive, insecure, does not have the client's best interest, seemed like working as a therapist was for his money problems.
Erik is wonderful - he listens, responds thoughtfully, is engaged, and challenges you. Everything you want in a therapist. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who's either looking to start therapy or is looking to continue on their mental health journey.
I was very intimidated to start therapy. In 2019, my stress & anxiety has surely pushed the envelope to the point where it had taken over a prominent portion of my life. I had never addressed mental health formally, & I was in search for help to accommodate my overall sense of well-being.
I reached out to multiple therapists to gauge a right fit, & after hopping off the phone with Erik for an initial phone call, I knew that he was going to be my guy. We had underwent psychotherapy immediately for over a year.
Erik provided me with plenty of research & content tailored for my condition, & leveraged cognitive behavioral, humanistic and dynamic psychotherapy to address both immediate & long-term problems that had been persistent in my life. Over time, we unpacked plenty of issues that I would never have been aware of until we had connected. Not only is my overall sense of well-being exponentially better, but I feel incredibly prepared to handle any stressors or heightened states of anxiety in the future.
This review doesn't truly speak to the gratitude that I have for undergoing therapy. Erik was understanding, patient, & explained everything in such a way that was easy for my to digest & implement right away. I truly wouldn't have the overall sense of well-being, had I never consulted Erik.
Thanks for everything, Erik. I will forever be grateful that you picked up the phone.
Erik has really helped me work through a lot of things that have been going on. Something about his approach just works for me, and it's been really useful to get more insight into things, or try and find better ways to deal with them. Honestly, even just talking about problems is usually helpful on its own, but I feel like talking to him actually helps me see things in a way that makes it possible for me to work on those problems. Definitely recommend.
