Took my 2 year old to the dentist for the first time the other day and they were great! Very friendly and great with my son. It was my first time taking my child to a dentist so I was nervous but I won't be next time.

We recently moved to Sonora CA and asked around for recommendations. Thorn Family Dental was #1 top rated. Turns out I knew Dr. Trevor Thorn as a high school student where I worked, so I had much confidence going in. All the office staff were kind, friendly and highly professional. They got me in quickly but many appointments take about 6 weeks, normal for a busy office. I had to have two teeth extracted, a bit nervous about the procedure. Shots and procedure were almost painless and I have Fibromyalgia so nerves are sensitive. He called later that evening to make sure I was doing well, very caring. Good prices on the recommended procedures for the future. He took the time to go over all of it and it's not for building their business, things I knew I needed to be done anyway, and prices in line with recent dentist before I moved. I have high confidence in him and the staff, and I've spent a lifetime at dentist offices, not all positive.

Dr. Thorn was so gentle and explained everything thoroughly. My novocaine shot was painless ( which was a first for me). Shots from previous dentists always hurt me alot. Which was always my source of dread, when going to the dentist. Any future visits to Dr. Thorn, will be stress free for me. What a relief! I recommend him highly.

Dr. Thorn and his staff are exceptional. I always feel welcome and cared for the moment I walk into the office. All appointments are thorough and I feel like I'm receiving the best possible care from Dr. Thorn as well the hygienists and other staff. I'd highly recommend this dental office.
