Bittersweet has an amazing menu, changing with the seasons. Their happy hour offers wonderful food and drinks at an affordable price. For a good group outing, or just a sweet night together, although on the pricey side, Bittersweet is a great place to go.

Love the outdoor area at the restaurant. Bistro area small but still a nice environment. Even though I know it's not their fault.. we found a very big and curly WORM in the fish in our fish salad Cooked. But still gross. They comped both meals.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is very good, the drinks are good, the atmosphere is nice and the service is great. I highly recommend it. It has been around for a long time.

Apparently they have two kitchens, one that makes the meat and one that makes the salads, our meat entrees came out at least 10 minutes before the salad entrees, which is a lil strange since the meat was being cooked. Not cool.on top of that we ordered desserts and waited 25 minutes for those also. Very poorly managed. Oh, and the owner was there. Born and raised in Aptos, will not be going back

Service is outstanding! Food is delicious! The skirt steak is the best I've had. Cliff, the bar manager, knows what good customer service is all about. On one our visits there, he went way above the call of duty to make sure it visit was a good one.

It was ok..we got there at 5:40, ordered the "jalapeno poppers" that weren't that at allit was 2 jalapenos sliced in half stuffed with some kind of ground meat, no cheese and then topped with what tasted like the sauce they pour on sushivery weird, would never recommend. I ordered a salad and my husband the chicken Sandwich , that was at 5:40.we didn't get our food until 6:40! He hated his sandwich because whatever sauce they dumped all over it was disgusting.all in all it wasn't that great. The restaurant was empty so the crappy food and service wasn't called for. Our bill was 71.00!! Wouldn't go back unless just for drinks..

My southwestern benedict was delicious but not spicy like the menu stated; my Bloody Maria was spicier. The Chicken and waffles were stingy. We received service with a smile when we eventually got service, we waited quite awhile to get water. It seemed like other tables were having the same problem. Next time I'll try togo?
