This place was awesome. The doctor and staff were very friendly and thorough. No wait. One of the best and easiest visits to a medical facility I have ever had.
The staff and doctor were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean.
I'm new to the area, don't have a physician yet and this was the only urgent care in the area that would accept my insurance because it was an HMO. Couldn't have been more happy with how I was handled here. I was taken back within five minutes of arriving. I was seen, diagnosed, prescribed antibiotics and out the door within 20. The staff is very friendly, quick and effiecent. Couldn't have asked for a better experience given my situation.
Cut my finger! Walked in and was treated very well by everyone inside the very clean and nice office. Fingers crossed I won't go there again.but if I need urgent care again I know where I'll be going! Thanks again!
I will never, never, NEVER go there again. I had no problem with Dr. Nichols, but the staff was terrible. First, they have some really stupid policies. They will only accept insurance CARDS, not declaration pages for your insurance policy, even though these show the group number, policy number, name & address, and effective dates. I have never had a doctor in Panama City refuse to accept a dec page for my policy, but these folks did. This forced me to drive home to find my card, which I had misplaced. Second, they don't know how to COMMUNICATE with a patient. At the end of my visit I was handed 3 pieces of paper, one of them a prescription. I thought this was unusual, since most places call it in or email it, so I specifically asked the nurse "So you're not going to call this in?" She replied "No, all you need to do is present those to the pharmacist." (Almost word for word what she said.) When I got to the pharmacist I found out that I was missing one of the prescriptions I needed, and no prescription had been called in at that point, so I had to drive back to Urgent Care to get it. A male nurse came out and informed me that I was mistaken, I had NOT been given any paper prescriptions during my visit!!! He had basically just accused me of lying or hallucinating. When I told him I had indeed received a paper prescription, and offered to go back to the pharmacist to get it and show it to him, he CONTINUED arguing with me. Unbelievable. When the nurse who gave me the prescription returned with the prescription I was missing she said they had already sent the prescriptions in electronically-- completely contradicting what she had told me when she handed me the prescription just 30 minutes earlier! Not only did I receive no apology for the miscommunication and having to drive back and forth, they got visibly ANGRY at me and in a threatening tone told me I needed to leave. These people need to understand that their first job is CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I treated my customers the way they did I would be FIRED. Someone needs to sit down with them and explain the importance of clear communication with patients so these kinds of misunderstandings do not happen in the future. And if you make a mistake, don't argue with a patient! A simple apology will go a long way toward defusing an angry customer and resolving any issue.
Every person we encountered was kind and courteous. We had hardly any wait time even though there were a few people in front of us. They did a great job taking care of my 4 year old and getting us in and out quickly .
Clean, fast, and great staff! Took my out of state insurance. Very thorough visit for sick 15 month old! The NP was wonderful with my son and the staff was excellent on helping us!
Excellent service
I Had a fall and injured foot area
The receptionists, X-ray tech, doctor was great. Within 1 hour i had a splint on my ankle and heading to the pharmacy
We had an amazing experience at this urgent care facility. From the moment we walked in, we felt cared for. My 13 year old daughter was experiencing a very embarrassing and emotionally sensitive issue and they treated her so tenderly! We were in and out in no time and so thankful for the relief that they were able to offer. I highly recommend this place if you're in need of care in PCB.
The nurses were nice but the doctor was very unfriendly. No one even told me what i had wrong, i was just handed a paper with perscriptions and told i was good to go. The paper said i had a respiratory infection but after days of not getting better and taking the wrong antibiotics, i learned i had mono.. 0/10 do not recomend.
First time visit after I tried to play Iron Chef and the knife won! Excellent service from front desk, nurses, and doctor. Friendly and professional care. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Thanks for the prompt and great care! I will cook again!
I would love to give this place 5 stars, and as far as the people that provide care to you it deserves all five, however I'm only giving it four for one main reason.
I went into the Urgent Care very early in the morning, around 9:20 for an excruciating kidney stone. Upon walking in I was very much in tears and agony, as anyone that's ever experienced one of these can understand. I thought that maybe the fact that I was crying out in pain might allow me to get in and be seen faster, but that wasn't the case. Anyone showing no signs of anything or a slight sniffle was able to get in faster than I was. I'm not blaming the people, just the system. I would have wanted the person that was seemingly dying to get in quicker, but that's just me.
Once inside, however, I was treated with phenomenal respect from both the nurses and the doctor that was there that day. I got quick treatment for pain, was spoken to like I mattered and not like they were in a rush, and I couldn't brag enough on the male nurse that helped me out and called me later with test results.
Thank you so much for your care!
