Do not be fooled by the exterior upon arriving at this hotel, the staff was exceptionally professional and friendly. Every time I had walked in and out to my room I saw someone always working, everywhere looked CLEAN and smelled great. I am a "hotel-holic”. I like to stay in a lot of hotels for get-a-ways, and this one just took me by surprise how the interior is clean, spacious, and has all amenities (fridge, microwave, big screen tv, etc). Furthermore, the breakfast was very filling - a HOT breakfast, not one of those motel quickies, but sausage, biscuits, and so much more. I stayed at the top floor, and my view was the cherry on this sundae stay. This one night stay made up for the last week I stayed at the Hampton Inn, which had yahoos for staff, breaking door hinges, breakfast closing early, and no view. This hotel is the underdog of this Okaloosa strip. You get more for a gift-giving price. Plus free high-speed Wi-Fi!

Before I tell the whole story, a summary:
    -bed bugs
-light in room that turns on and off randomly through the night
-unhelpful and rude worker in the morning
    -manager unavailable

Stayed here last night (Thursday, March 29th 2018). Throughout the night I was woken up, my the light in the entry way randomly turning on. At first when this happened, I went to investigate and saw that it was a motion sensor light. Easy fix, put something in front of it, right? Well I ended up putting the ironing board in front of it and draping it with a towel to completely block all directions when it kept turning on. This still didn't work, it would just randomly turn on and off. I ended up sleeping with something over my eyes to get the last 3 hours of the night.

I had to wake up at 5 am for work so I didn't go complain, even though I also woke up with about 7 bug bites that I didn't go to bed with. So yeah, bed bugs as well.

The best part is when my girlfriend went to go complain about the light and bed bugs, they told her to sorry we won't help you because your name isn't on the card that paid for the room. When I got off work for lunch and called, they proceeded to tell me sorry, there isn't a manager in so they can't do anything for me. I asked when the manager would be in, not until Saturday, so the entire Friday there is no manager available, huh.

The beds were kinda hard, but overall the room was clean and i felt comfortable inside of it, you can see the ocean in the 6th floor a little bit which is nice. It was an excellent price for the location of this hotel.

The parking lot is tiny and the entrance to it from the road is pretty steep. If you're not driving carefully, it will bottom out the car. We stayed at the room when hurricane Nate made landfall. Rain was coming in through the window. The inside does look better than the outside of the building.

A sweet little hotel that has all the comforts away from home you need. Staff were very friendly and nice; check in and check out were easy. The area is close to the beach, restaurants and a park. Would definitely come back!

Beds were very comfortable, the place had cable and wifi! Free breakfast every morning, fresh towels and beds were made the next day. Clean pool and lobby was very clean and welcoming. Friendly and nice staff. Prices were very affordable and will stay again in the future !

Older hotel that needs some TLC. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is very good. For the price it was what made our vacation possible.

Staff was friendly and quick. There is a laundromat in the building if you need it. My room was clean and tidy upon checkin. It came with a fridge and microwave. The bed was actually pretty comfy. Con: was difficult to access coming from the north due to traffic.

When we arrived we saw the parking lot and the spaces were small and poorly placed. People didn't park well because of this reason. Staff was friendly for the most part. When we used the carts for moving bags to our 4th floor room, most all were hard to move or broken.
When we enter our room (using the nifty little tap key cards) we were hit by an overwhelming smell of mildew and mold and it felt overwhelmingly humid in the room. Way more that it was outside.
The furniture was all dented and in poor shape. The beds were clean and alright I suppose, minus the fact they constantly felt damp and wet our entire trip due to the horrible mildew and humidity problem.
We woke up with stuffy noses and migraines every morning due to the rooms state. We didn't ever turn on the air conditioner afraid it would worsen the smell.
It said no smoking but people smoke in the rooms and when they do it seeps in the bathroom, so you're getting secondhand smell. Showers were pretty nice, even if the bathroom needed a good cleaning.
All of our clothes ended up completely damn so that was upsetting and hoping our gifts we bought for family aren't ruined as well.
If it were me, I would pay the little extra and and stay at the Hilton or Holiday Inn esp since they are RIGHT on the beach.
Overall it was okay and we didn't leave because we stayed out most of the time. We should have cancelled the room the moment we saw the outside of the building. The rooms are a good example of how the buildin looks outside.

We stumbled onto this place by accident. We try to travel on the cheap, so we can stay for extra days. Most places we stay aren't great, but they provide a bed and shelter.

I was so pleasantly surprised when we checked in to this hotel. The beds were so comfy and the room was so inviting.

The staff was super friendly, and there was a wonderful selection for breakfast.

Right across the street from the beach. I will definitely recommend to all my friends.
