We had an exceptional experience here! We spent 7 days here. Room was very clean, no bugs! Cleaning staff was wonderful! They cleaned our room everyday. They even changed our sheets during our stay! Beds where comfy! We met the owner and he was very kind! Veronica absolutely was amazing and went above and beyond!!! Our resort hotel dumped our reservation because of a price increase and didn’t want to give us the deal we had booked six months prior. Veronica got us right in. We had a wonderful 25th Anniversary! This hotel is right by everything in Destin and in walking distance! Thank you to the Village inn Destin and your staff! We will definitely be back to visit again!!!❤️

It's outside entry. Rough looking. The rooms are tidy. Both beds in same area connected to sink. No frills with reasonable rates for this area. Good points: A few feet from Waffle House, close to great restaurants across street, close to Harbor Walk with tons of stuff to do. Great sports bar behind a very short walk away. Stay here and have extra money to enjoy Destin.

For being one of the cheaper hotels in the area it isn't too bad. The double queen is a nice wide room with a table. If you wanted to you could possibly fit 2 in each bed, plus maybe like 2 or 3 on the floor. The only thing that was minor was the electrical outlets. There wasn't many in the room and the ones in the room had no strength. I would bring an extension cord if you plan to charge anything. Other than that, really nice place, near to the Harbor. Hard to beat.

I’ve never stayed at a motel and was scared because of some of the poor review. Definitely glad I decided to go for it. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Overall amazing stay for someone on a budget. I would go back, you can’t find somewhere with this great of a location for such a low price. Only complaint is the WiFi is really slow.

Good hotel. Staff is helpful. Rooms are clean enough. Very close to the boardwalk area. We only stayed for the weekend and it was perfect for what we needed.

As expected and in serious need of some cosmetic help. I was surprised how nice the bed and pillows were sort of made up for the sad look of the room. Very cozy and comfy and affordable. Would probably stay again for a quick overnight.

Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly, accomidating staff. Evacuated for hurricane Irma. So pet friendly. Let us change rooms. Waffle house right beside so was very convenient for us. Casual atmosphere but they saved our lives in our time of need.

Clean, friendly staff, great location. YES, I would stay again. It has the feel of a motel but I expected that when I booked. There are some updates and the smell is not too musky. Anything you'd like to do is in walking distancebeach, boardwalk, tons of food and entertainment right across the street. If on a budget, this is a good choice.

Second time we've stayed here. Our room was very clean and smelled great! The cleaning lady was on point. Best rates in town. The only negative for me was the breakfast which was fine for the rest of my family but there wasn't anything that didn't have glutin in it. I was hoping for fruit or boiled eggs. Still a great place to stay.

Veronica and her staff are a fantastic group of people! So professional, gracious, kind and helpful! My room was well maintained, clean and pest free. The air is frosty and and there is plenty of room! 2 beds, 2 dressers, mini fridge, microwave, iron w/board, hair dryer as well as an in room safe. The shower is hot with good pressure and a beautiful vanity! They also provide a HOT FREE BREAKFAST !! Sausage biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, muffins, cereal, juices , hot chocolate and of course coffee! Oh yeah you have a coffee maker in room too! GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Not great, but not terrible. The staff was friendly and kind, but the guests were unruly and gross. Kids puking out front of our hotel, drunk guests banging on our door for fun, the shower smelled of mildew and was molding. The best was decent, but I felt dirty being in the room. I wouldn't stay there again. (If you're drunk enough not to care it's not so bad! Right across from all the bars) the bottom of you feet will be black from walking on the disgusting carpet

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and smoke free. Great location!! Cons: Not all of the outlets worked in the room. Decor is slightly dated. The bathroom is bare bones. Tub/ shower, toilet, and bare tile walls. Summary: For the price, this is a clean and safe hotel to stay in with a great location! Its not fancy or over the top but its great for an affordable stay!!! I would stay here again.

Staff was courteous, very helpful with recommendations. Standard continental breakfast (guest rude, thinking they were going to starve I guess - not motels fault tho). As a whole, not bad but not great either. Someone had been in the room before us - tv on, pillows messed up on bed, drinks on night stand?). Once settled we found out why, dead bolt didn't work. Maintenance did fix in the am. Very noisy on weekends, as there is a bar across the street. Biggest complaint - after getting the baby out of the bath & dressed in pj's (footed sleeper) the feet were literally black, as tho he'd been running outside with no shoes onyuck. Definitely needs flooring replaced, maybe without carpet as it's close to the beaches? & stains easily?
