I actually just cancelled my stay at this hotel due to weather. They could not have handled it any more poorly than they did. I'm about four hours away, and there are tornado warnings all over the route I would be taking. I called the hotel and explained this, and then called Expedia since that's who I booked through. Expedia called and asked if they'd waive the cancellation policy due to weather conditions, and they absolutely wouldn't budge on the policy even though Destin itself was currently under a tornado warning. Expedia is crediting my account because they understand things happen, but rest assured I will NEVER book at this hotel again, and I will be telling everyone I know about this experience. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The worst hotel I've ever dealt with, and I travel weekly.

Surprisingly impressive!

We stayed 1 night, but I wish we could stay longer. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and smelled great! The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very satisfying. I strongly suggest staying at this hotel. 2 thumbs up!

Nice hotel clean rooms clean bathroom great staff very friendly. Updated hotel with new carpet and decor. Room smelled nice love fridge and microwave in room. Great price close to Destin and beaches. Will definitely stay here again you've made our trip affordable!

Clean, Friendly, Comfortable family-run hotel. Rooms appear to be recently refurbished. Large refrigerator. Quiet. During Hurricane Irma they waived their No Pets policy to allow us to ride out the storm for several days.

Competitively priced.

Easy to get to Destin, Fort Walton Beach attractions and beaches.

Light toast and coffee breakfast. However, Waffle House next store, McDonalds across the street. Walgreens a few blocks away. China Buffet a good value.

Check out the Air Force Munitions Museum about 10 minutes away.

We appreciated their hospitality during our stay and would not hestate to stay there again. We wish them the best!

Check in was a little Rocky. No one was at counter. Stood there for over 4 min. Looked down and noticed a little button. No sign, saying press me, or indication that it was a door bell button. Ring it and a lady comes down. Right from the jump I could tell she was sick. She's coughing, sniffling etc. Not trying to hide or suppress the cough. I Hand her my card, and license. She literally was coughing into her hand, that had my card. I asked if she had any hand sanitizer because I'm not sure what other people consider rude, but this was definitely not polite, or sanitary. She said no. I understand if people have to work when you're sick, but take some safe guards. Bring hand sanitizer and put it by your desk, or wear a mask. I'm an easy going guy, but this was pretty disrespectful. On another note, Rooms were acceptable. Typical hotel room for under $100. Just wish check in would have been a little more sanitary.

The place is nice the people are nice. Unfortunately I was placed in a roomin that has not been updated though. I assume it is because I have a dog. The 10 dollars a night charge is a little steep. It cost me 70 more dollars. I have worked hard to train my dog to be well behaved and it a shame others don't do the same. They are ruining it for us responsible dog owners. Other than that the breakfast is hot and free and I will return.

Hello from Arizona!! We stayed 5 nights. Front desk and room service was very nice, courteous and helpful. Room was convenient and comfortable. No time in the pool or in the bbq area in the back. Only complaint is for the back door access. It did not lock where card is needed to enter.

Hotel is good. The breakfast is not all that,but there is a Waffle House right outside. Regency Inn ,please provide more breakfast. There were a lot of flies when my family and I were cooking BBQ. The BBQ facility is next to the trash so we think that's why. The pool is pretty nice. Oh, there's not much to do in Niceville and all the parks and entertainment is about 1 hr and 30 minutes away from this hotel. However, Destin is about 17 minutes away and there's a lot to do there. BUT, you have to pass a toll and it's $4.00. Be aware of that. Overall, I would rate this hotel a 4. Peace.

The Patel family does a piss poor job of running and maintaining this hotel. The room looked an hourly hit and quit it motel where you would take an easy, cheap, trashy target. I guess it wasn't too trashy cause they had their new born cleaning the room with them I thought another guest was in my room but it was them and they family. (Family time) I asked to speak with the manager they ganged up like ants on a sugar cube. They came to room and asked why did we want to leave we simply said sorry this room is not what you advertised and we have come so far that we just wanted to sleep comfortably and we knew we weren't going to get it there. At that point we asked for a refund the manager said NO YOU HAVE TO STAY😳😡. We then said no we will not and she said well we are going to charge cleaning fees we had only been in the room 10mins. We didn't even use the rest room cause there was a ring in the toilet like old water stains. At 134 per night my stay should at least have clean bed linen without stains on the comfronter like old baby oil dripage.!! Finally they granted us a refund after a very heated exchange back and forth. Mrs. PATEL said what did you expect we will not change the furniture for every guest. The dresser should be missing a draw do you know how many people have stayed here before you. That wasn't very comforting. Thanks for the refund but I will never blink two eyes at this place ever again. I would rather sleep on this picture than this motel.

It's not a Marriott or a Hilton but neither are the nightly room rates.😊 Very happy with stay. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. If you want to be close to Destin without paying $200-$400 a nightThis is a great choice.
