Mike and Rebecca are as friendly as possible. This place has more amenities than most 5 star hotels. For you back at the lodge go Broncos.

A relaxing place to stay in Colorado - Our family of 3 stayed at the Eldora Lodge for a couple of nights as part of a ski trip in January. We rented room #7, which is one of the family room (1 Queen, 2 twins). The rooms were clean and comfortable, furnished in a rustic/log cabin style, not huge, but large enough for 2 adults+kid, luggage, and ski gear. The room leads to the large deck and Jacuzzi that looks out on the mountains. I definitely recommend taking a soak after a few days of skiing.

The common area was perfect for some chill relaxing time in the evening. They had complimentary hot choc or tea, as well as small snacks, a large fireplace. We played some pool table, some shuffleboard, and some board games. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and very hospitable throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good. Cell phone reception is not great (probably a good thing), but the wifi worked well enough.

It felt like a mountain lodge should be: not over the top luxury, but comfortable, warm, and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was super-friendly! The bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and pillows. Breakfast was scrumptious! Fritata, fried potatoes, french toast casserole, and much more. It was a very pretty spread. Plus: doggies! In the lobby. Very cute. The website says 24 hour check-in. It's not, but that was not a problem as they took very good care of us when we arrived late. 😊

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The hot tubs have a gorgeous view over Boulder and Denver, the breakfast was tasty, and the common room had a lot of stuff to do, like play pool, a ton of board games and movies you could rent, and a lot of books. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the roll out bed was suprisingly comfy. The shower was a little difficult to operate, but everything else was excellent.

Where to start this place was AMAZING. The hospitality was out of this world they were so accommodating and helpful. The rooms were very clean and looked very nice they had a bunk bed with a king sized bed and they were very comfortable the room also had a tv and a DVD player and if you forgot a movie they had a choice of about two hundred movies in the lobby to rent for only one dollar. The bar and snacks sections was a serve yourself which ran on the honors system. The deck had an amazing view with a rather big hot tub. They also had a lounge where if any baseball or footballs games were going on everyone staying could hangout and drink. Overall this place was amazing and would recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

My family stayed here 3 nights while seeing the sights around the Denver area. The experience was fantastic!! Rustic feel, but the rooms have everything you need. Awesome views! Great public lodge area with a pool table, TV, lounge chairs, etc. Large decks, with an outdoor hot tub. The staff is very friendly, and I felt at home here. The daily breakfast is also very good; the standard fruit, cereal, waffles, but also some home-cooked type of options. I would love to visit here again!

Overnight guest in the summertime. Very cool place to stay, comfortable and intimate. Friendly staff, nice location although a little difficult to pin down with limited service and an aging GPS. Rooms were decorated in rustic lodge fashion, with a deck you could walk back on that had access to a hot tub. Plenty to do on site - the staff had board games, movies, snacks, and adult beverages that you could either sign out, rent, or purchase. Breakfast is a bit better than standard hotel fare, with fresh fruit and hot dishes served every morning. A bit off the beaten path, but well worth the visit!

This was by far the most awesome place I've ever stayed. Not only are the views awesome but you immediately feel at home :) The breakfast was incredible - 3 different kinds of homemade baked egg goodness and tons of other options! The staff treated us like family (in a good way) and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be back!

Awesome place and the hospitality is 5 star. The owners and staff definitely have the guests comfort and experience in mind when staying at Eldora Lodge. Coming to Eldora Lodge made our family of 5 feel like we were at the family cabin and aloud us to spend quality time together that we just weren't getting in the city.
The location of the lodge was just far enough from everything to make us feel like we were deep into the Rocky Mountains. I recommend everyone to come take a break from the hustle of life and go relax in a hot tub and play pool up Coal Creek Canyon in Golden, CO.

Thanks for the awesome stay. :)
