Nice small place. Well decorated with a pleasant helpful staff. The location worked well for us.
Parking is a bit expensive, but worth it.

Nice affordable hotel with a modern boutique feel, nice furnishing and a very attentive and professional staff.

The hotel staff was very friendly both on the phone and in person. My only gripe, which is consistent with other posters, is that the valet prices are out of control.

Good location. Rooms are small and a tad outdated. Great value for the price and the breakfast buffet is really good.

I recently stayed here while in town for the Nine Inch Nails Concert. The location is perfect if you're going to a show it game at the Staples Center.
The hotel is very nice. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The staff was AMAZING. Everyone from the valet, front desk, bell hop, housekeeping, the restaurant staff was friendly and went out of their way.
    I will be back again!

Very nice hotel. From the outside looks less than appealing, but once inside you know you have found an oasis. Very clean and nice. The staff too.

Wonderful place, focused on guest service. Clean room with all the amenities of more expensive places. Bathroom products, excellent. Towels, wonderful. Robe and slippers. Wolfgang coffee inroom. Bedside clock is a tablet, say what? Pick it up and the hotel is at your finger tips. Only thing missing is room service, but good places to eat, so close. I recommend the King Cafe, 1 block away.

Staff professional and compassionate with guests with disabilities. Excellent location for guests scheduled for an appointment at Cedar-seni Medical Center. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfection here from breakfast to the room's tidyness, except the booking experience everything is great. The staff was very kind and helpful. If you can, don't miss out the wine tasting in the evenings.

Boutique type of hotel. They are in a great area for shopping for sure. The prices aren't that bad either. Light breakfast and nice rooms. You wont be disappointed for a mid-range to boutique hotel

I am from Georgia. Selected this hotel because of the reviews and it's close to where I needed to be. We were in LA to attend a funeral. We left the room and was away for hours. Returned to the room and the first thing i saw was a card. Opened it and it was a sympathy card from the staff. That meant so much to us. The entire staff gave excellent service. Room was clean, delicious chocolate on the night stand and the bed. Great breakfast and evening reception

Train wasn't leaving until 10:00 p.m. I informed the staff and they offered me a 2:00 late check out. Later informed them because I was traveling with a 96 year old person I would like to see about staying until around 7:00. They offered me a partial day rate. They do what is necessary to assist their customers. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a great hotel. Excellent staff.

The Elan is located in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Breakfast was delightful with fresh fruit, ham and cheese, croissants, cottage cheese and Greek yogurt offered along with all the usual fare. We were on the first floor where foot traffic in the hallway seemed to be a bit heavy. If you stay, and you should, be sure to request a quiet room of you're a light sleeper. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and cozy. We'll definitely return to Elan Hotel.
