My first time here. Very nice and more room for people to sit or stand while waiting but the service here is very poor. Nurse who checked me in was very rude. Doctor seemed in a rush..It was less than 10 minutes than she left the room. I was sent to Lab for blood draw as soon as I walked in front desk said they're close!. I wasted time and Gas for nothing. My first and last visit here will never recommend friends and family here.

The service is way below par and the staff is mean. Very bad expierence overall, especially with the dentistry. The phone reseptor was very unkind and was an instigator.

I am extremely livid with my appt today with the nutritionist seriously what a waste of time. I am diabetic with other medical issues I was there for about 10 minutes for her to pretty much tell me keep eating unhealthy for 3 more weeks then I will see you back in 3 weeks and see what your doing wrong, I told her what I was doing wrong and she did not care, didn't bother to give me a meal plan all she said was just eat how your eating and I'll see you in 3 weeks. Worst experience i have ever had!

Worst customer service ever. I have never been treated so poorly by a physician's office before. The staff is dishonest and rude. The nurse practitioners do not treat patients with respect and I had lab tests run without my permission and was charged for them.

Well I wonder why we make appointments. I got here early and still haven't seen the doctor yet. My appointment was an hour ago.
Do I even have to give them a star? I have an appointment with a new doctor in November but I thought I could get in here to see someone because I feel sick. Probably not my best decision today. Honestly I would not recommend this place. It is like this every time.response / report this review -

Horrible. Especially while pregnant and see the midwives I should have gone to UMC or tmc instead. My pregnancy was horrible I had such bad pains that I knew were not normal (2nd baby) yet no one helped me or even cared all they said was "this is normal" or "everything is fine" without checking me out. After pregnancy had clots and went to the ER the following Monday had as an appointment told the midwife what was going on and she was like "mmhmmm yeah okay" and "you'll be fine" with out checking

Everyone was so nice but, I had bad experiences there. I was pregnant and I knew something was wrong and they didn't want to listen. After I begged for almost three weeks they did an eco and we found out that the baby was not growing. After the miscarriage they didn't want to check if I had residues of any kind and now my hormones are a total mess. Being kind does not mean that you are doing the right thing. I think they have to be more professional as long as the equipment goes and if a patient is asking for something well, give it to her. I also said that I was going to pay for the eco and they told me that I had to wait, for what? They just did everything more complicated and painful for my and me husband.

eh better then st marries and UMC always answer there phone and allways call you back even the drs take some time with you .. pharmacy sucks and only sometimes does mail order and runs out of meds a lot but other then that its a nice place to go

Agreed. Love El Rio Health Center and doctorsbut Pharmacy staff need to get it together. Usually there is a LONG 15-30 minute line with only one person at the window. Also, while standing in line once, I watched the one girl at the counter repeatedly begging her co-workers (who were standing around) to help her with the long lineand it took like 10 minutes for any of them to respond and help that poor girl, and all of the poor customers in line. They say you can have your prescriptions delivered, but I seriously doubt they would deliver to my address (far Northwest side of town).
