Fantastico! The jazz ensemble was fabulous, and the atmosphere and food / drinks just what we were looking for. Fun place. Thanks

Average all around. We had the mussel special in white wine sauce. They were very large (too big for me), and it would have been better with a piece of toast to soak up the sauce. We also ordered the calamari, which was a bit over fried. We did enjoy the eggplant fries. Churro dessert was also a bit too crunchy. Sangria was just ok, not a lot 9f flavor.

Delicious food, great ambiance and atmosphere, reasonable prices for the quality. It's a small restaurant with a tapas menu- while I was there they had live jazz with local performers playing original music. All in all it was a great spot and I will return. The Oyster mushrooms were shockingly delicious- you should try them.

Made a last minute reservation at El Meson on OpenTable and so glad we did! El Meson is an easy stroll from the Plaza. My mother and I ordered wine, two tapas to share, and an orange-spiced flan. The waiter was genuinely kind and attentive. If you're looking for Spanish-infused food that's beautiful, tasty, and a tad on the luxurious side, this is the spot for you! We ate in the dining room, but the bar area across the hallway looked like it was plenty of fun. If you're looking to have a quiet conversation, go with the dining room. For a good time and live music, see if you can snag a seat in the bar area! AlsoI'm sill dreaming of the goat cheese cheesecake. REALLY wish I had ordered that as a second dessert.

Wonderful food, great staff and an environment like no other. This is one of the places to pays attention to fine details to turn the dining experience from great to exquisite!! If you don’t check it out, your missing out.

Fabulous tapas Super Fresh and very tasty. The staff is highly competent and very efficient even during rush hour. The only downside of the place is the noise level in the main restaurant area when full. It rises to almost unbearable levels. Perhaps you won't be bothered if you are used to being in noisy Bars. SUGGESTION TO THE OWNERS INSTALL FU SOUNDPROOFING PANELS ON THE CEILING AND THE ATMOSPHERE WILL IMPROVE IMMEASURABLY.

The food was terrible. We ordered The mariscos Paella and it was bad, it was served with mexican rice and had no flavor the whole thing didn't bland, looks like they cooked everything separate with no spices.

Superb service, flavor overload on food. Best food I've had in a long time. First time to have tapas and I enjoyed them thoroughly. I'm very much into sharing food experiences with others, so it suited my style and taste exquisitely. Wine selection is also wonderful!

Everything was amazing! The best tapas we've had in years.
We had the tortilla espanola, sangria, morcilla, stuffed mushrooms, salad with pears and goat cheese. Everything was top notch. Great staff and service too

Excellent is not a strong enough word to describe how great El Mesón's dining experience is. Fantastic plates, friendly staff and killer atmosphere. 10/10 will be back!

In the tapas bar, the food was delicious, with obvious influences from Spain. There was live music and couples dancing. Decor felt like a Spanish plaza. Had a great time! We hadn't made a reservation but the hostess squeezed us onto the bar. The staff was amazing.
