Very nice atmosphere. Great place to hangout but sometimes patrons get loud after a few drinks on Friday and Saturday nights. But on the off days or later in the evening, great place to bring a date. Cozy and warm. Staff excellent!

I don't get the allure of this place? I think there are FAR better Mexican cuisine options in the Capital district. I just feel that their food is very almost gentrified although that's not the right word for it. If I want Mexican, I want traditional.Their margaritas are good, but they are standard to me. And I always feel crammed in, even when it isn't busy.

Excellent Mexican food. Margaritas are made with real fruit juices and puree. Friendly service. They make their own awesome range of hot sauces.

Service was super slow even though the place wasn't that crowded. Our food was not only terrible but very expensive. Their mission is serving healthy and delicious food. I don't really think it was either. I got the chimichanga with chicken and the chicken was like hard little chunks of concrete. Lots of gooey cheese. It was all so bland. Everything tasted like it needed Salt. You have to pay an expensive price for chips and salsa. Something like 4 99. The only good thing I can say about it is that they had very cute decorations inside and the servers were friendly and trendy / cool looking.

Excellent food. Was impressed with waitress who asked if anyone needed a gluten free menu. One of us did since he specifically looked up online for such a restaurant.

My boyfriend and I recently moved to Albany and we we needed to find a new spot for Mexican food. We tried two other places in the immediate area and weren't satisfied at all and then we found El Loco. My personal favorites about El Loco - All the margaritas (coconut should be available year round 😉.) Sangria. The atmosphere is always friendly. GF menu available for my BF (chicken and shrimp fajitas for life) Great portion sizes. If you're thinking nachos I would order the nachos fantasticos! Very reasonable pricing and the staff You guys are awesome!

Great food. Ginger frozen margarita is a must have. Friendly staff. Outdoor eating atmosphere was nice however small but considering the location it was nice.

Food tasted amazing. Unfortunately the portion sizes were 1/2 what I would have expected for the cost.

Great atmosphere. Tamale Tuesdays rule! A beer and a tamale for 7 bucks! They also have a great tequila selection and large menu.

I've been here too many times just to eat chips and salsa and drink margaritas til I was stuffed. Anything you get here is freakin' fantastic! The staff is amazing. I've since moved from the area and miss this place more than any other restaurant. This will be my first stop when I visit Albany. Please patronize this place so it's around forever, it deserves to be!

A great little hole in the wall place. Cute atmosphere, great menu (including vegetarian options), tasty margaritas. Service was what I would expect for a busy Friday night.
