We recently celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 at "El Caribe" on 09/01/17. I decided to take a few days to gather my thoughts together because the staff deserve much more than just one line of gratitude. It was my first time hosting such an event and I must say that Terrence (the banquet manager) and George/Jorge (the staff/event manager) made my ordeal so much less stressful. Terrence helped me organize the program schedule, food/cake options, linens even the smallest details which was font/theme colors for menus. Jorge was beyond spectacular serving my guest, my family and self. He collected a few items for event the day prior and when I arrived to hall, he had set everything up without me moving a finger! He kept the whole event organized and everything was maintained nice, neat and above all clean! Bathrooms were always intact; the food was outstanding and I don't have enough words or thank-you's to express my gratitude. I mean, it is almost one week since the affair and people still keep calling me impressed with the catering staff. If I can give them 6 stars or more I would because there's no scale that can measure their professionalism, expertise and courteousness! Thank-you guys from the bottom of my heart! This will be one of many events to celebrate with you guys!

I have nothing but good things to say about the El Caribe! My wife and I got married here on Saturday and everything was absolutely perfect! The venue, food, and service were all amazing. I'd like to thank Terrance and the rest of the maitre d's, Nicole, Gregory, and the whole staff for doing a fantastic job. Also, a big thank you to Phil, who helped us plan the event. You did so much for us and words can't express how grateful we are!

We had our wedding reception at El Caribe in June. The night could not have gone any better. Both my husband and I, as well as our guests were amazed by the service. It was above and beyond expectations. The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious. All of our guests are still complimenting the food (cocktail hour, dinner, etc.) and service. The Maitre d's did an amazing job at catering to us. At one point, Terrence pulled us to the dais table and just told us to look at the dance floor and take it in, which was truly a memorable moment. Everything went so smoothly, from the planning process through the entire night. We had the most amazing wedding, thank you El Caribe!

Terrific food. Been to several events and the food is always excellent! Good party spaces. Clean facilities, valet parking. If food is a priority for your special event, you can't go wrong with El Caribe. It's one of the few, if not the only place in Brooklyn, where you can stull have a traditional, catered affair with incredible food in a classic environment and ample parking.

Attended a wedding. Nice looking place. Most of the staff very professional (some need more refinement and less ghetto). Food was very good. Nice venue overall.

This place was so nice. I have lived in Brooklyn my whole life and never knew it was there. The place is very elegant very well put together the staff was nice and accommodated.

There aren't too many classy caterers left in Brooklyn so I feel thankful to still have El Caribe around. I've attended weddings here, charity events, political fundraisereven a Sweet 16. The food is good but the cocktails are even better. The ambiance is just right and the staff is courteous and professional.

Best wedding ever!!! The service was spectacular 👍👍the staff couldn't do enough for you. The cocktail hour had the largest selection of food I have ever seen at a venue.. and everything was delicious ! I would especially like to thank Mat and Greg for their great service. I am so glad that my daughter decided to have her wedding there ..the memories will live forever because of every little detail you performed with perfection .I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the evening so wonderful

I recently had my sweet 16 there and the experience and the staff were amazing!!! Terrence (event coordinator) was so sweet and helpful and was very kind in making my party the best night of my life. The food is so delicious, I recommend the chicken Mediterranean. I'm so happy to have chosen the venue for my party I want to do it all over again.
