Old and historic station but needs some repairs

If the hours are posted Open at 4am then be be open. No restroom ? Good thing I saved my extra large coffee cup. Mattoon is much nicer,

Got to the station at 4, to be early, currently standing in the rain to not miss the amtrak. Train arriving at 5, but doors are locked and hours are posted saying 4:00-6:00 daily? WRONG

Well, this isn't the nicest station I've been to, but it isn't quite the worst either.
Boarding and unboarding the train is done from street level, and there is a little waiting room inside the building with about 20-30 seats. There's also a small parking lot that was pretty full from the look of it. Aside from that, there really aren't any amenities.
In fact, it's a lot easier to list the features that this station DOESN'T have:
No Restrooms
No ATM
No Ticket Office
No Lounge
No Elevator
No Quik-Trak kiosk
No Payphone
No Wi-Fi
No Lockers
That said, this station does have train tracks, so it gets the job done.response / report this review
