Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. Check-in was easy, quick and seamless. The resort provides everything that you might need for your stay on the beach. They have a beach closet with chairs, umbrellas, etc for your use on the beach. The location is great and is within walking distance to a large number of bars, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

We just returned from another relaxing vacation at the Edison Beach House Hotel. We have been vacationing at the Edison for the past seventeen years and never look anywhere else. This is because of the friendly staff, clean rooms and proximity to shops and eating establishments that offer a variety of food and are within walking distance.

We love the Edison Beach House. You are right in the heart of Fort Myers Beach. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. If you decide to go across the bridge to other places to eat its not to far. The staff is so great to work with. The pool is warm and the beach is feet away. Will be back!

We have been staying at Edison Beach House for years on an initial referral from my co worker. This hotel is top notch, its always clean and well maintained. We love there is a full kichen with all the equipment and a washer and dryer. They groom the beach every morning which is an added plus. When we come we park the car and everything is within walking distance or the trolley stop out front. Most of all to the staff, Thank you for treating us like family, for the first time this year we had a minor issue and within minutes, someone was there to fix it for all of the above and more is why we keep coming back year after year we already booked for the spring

This place is a little piece of heaven. Always always have a first rate experience there. Just leaving because of Hurricane Irma. I can't wait to come back and see that the Edison House is still okay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The kitchen utensils were sufficient for our cooking needs also. I definitely recommend here for future stays as we had easy access to the beach and the hotel had a heated pool.

The suites are very nice. Because of a slight mix-up, we ended up in different rooms each night. All of them were very nice. Awesome beach views, too!

We came into town to bring my daughter to see a Mary Poppins play put on by the local theater. We really enjoyed our stay here! We had a room that overlooked the beach and it was super clean with a view from every area.even the bathroom! The room had a fully stocked kitchen including a blender, mixer, full sized fridge and oven etc. One of the best parts about this place was the size of the bathroom, shower, and best of all the laundry room inside your room stocked with Tide. There were so many amenities in the room that I am sure I overlooked some in our short stay. It was very close to the pier and any restaurants on the beach. The balcony was super nice and roomy just like the room with four chairs to sit on. When we checked in they gave us a canvas bag with two little stuffed dolphins for my kiddos. On top of the fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry area the room had two queen beds, a chest of drawers, two reclining chairs, and a pretty good sized television. The room was super charming but so was the outside area on the ground level of the hotel. They had a picnic table glider, a huge cottage playhouse for the kids, lounge chairs for the guests inside the pool area and outside the pool area. Both areas overlooked the ocean. They also had a shed with beach chairs to use while you are there along with a chest full of beach toys for the kids! This hotel is super family friendly! We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for five nights with our three kids and could not have been happier. The room was perfect, two separate rooms with their own bathroom, a great kitchen with all I needed to cook if I wanted to. The hotel was so close to the pier, shops and restaurants and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It was just the perfect vacation, we will for sure be back.

We previously had 2 great, enjoyable stays here. We even recommended the hotel to a group of friends getting away for a few days and decided to book another stay this year. My wife went down ahead of me with our friends and we booked a separate room after her friends would return for her and I to get away for a couple of days. But, we had a family emergency come up with one of our kids. So, we were scrambling trying to figure out how to handle this situation at home while my wife was stuck in Florida. Cancelling our upcoming room reservation wasn't the first thing on our list, but once we had things figured out my wife went to the front desk to let them know we couldn't stay. We didn't necessarily expect a refund but my wife was very put off by a "sorry about your luck" attitude with no compassion or consideration. This was a little more than 48 hours' notice which is in the gray area of their listed cancellation policy so it's understandable a refund wasn't in order, but I couldn't understand the lack of friendliness or compassion. So, I just called to give them another chance but it was very matter of fact. I only received the "We are sorry and everything, but." excuse again which was consistent with my wife's experience. We planned to make this a regular spot for getaways and refer our friends, but now we'll be looking elsewhere.

We found this hotel online and booked it for a one night stay before going on a cruise. The rooms are small, but very clean. The hotel is modern and simple with white walls and no artwork in the rooms. I liked this simplicity! The hotel staff were very nice and helped us with any questions we had.
