I rented 2 rooms for 2 nights. I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express and decided that by moving to this hotel I could save approx. $20.00 per room per night and, be "on the water" here are my comments compared to The Holiday Inn Express approx. 2 miles Away:
    1. The staff at Casa Loma were friendly but unaccommodating.
    2. The rooms were significantly dated.
    3. The rooms were dirty.
    4. There is no type of Continental breakfast so, there was additional cost in purchasing breakfast- The Breakfast at Holiday Inn Express was superb!
    5. There is no office center with computers or printers to use if you are a guest- A significant advantage to Holiday Inn Express.
    6. The location of Casa Loma made the rooms significantly louder than Holiday Inn Express.
    7. On the water- mmmmm, I would disagree the water is not significant - great pictures though.
    8. The Mattress- very well used and supportive. The sheets and blankets were minimal. Got cold in the middle of the night and called down for additional bedding-the front desk was closed so turned up the heat.
    9. Would not stay there again and would not recommend this place to friends.

DONT BE FOOLED BY PICS! Worst hotel I've been in my life. THE WORST! Tile floors? Dirty sheets, sticky pillows, stained towels, unpainted patches on walls, tiles falling off bath wall, street noise all night see for yourself in my pics

Nice hotel right on the canal. Pool, dock. Great deal for the price. Kitchenette in room. Rooms a little dated but comfortable.

I went out to go swimming but tripped on one of the stayers coolers. As i attempt to get up the owner of the hotels dog ran over to me and proceeded to hump me in the ass. At first i was dismayed by such occurrence but once it found my spot it became a pleasant penetration experience. 10/10 would come here again

We stayed one night in a waterfront room. The view was pretty, the kitchenette facilities were clean and functional, bathroom was clean. Cheap quality blankets but they were clean and in good condition. AC was good and cold. Great price for a night away from home for the holiday!

Place is horrible. Had room near pool, and people partying playing Mexican music after pool was supposed to be closed for the evening. This was after 11:30 at night. Talked to management several times who said they would "shut pool down" but it never happened. Pool is advertised as supposed to be closed at 9 pm. Also stinky carpets, and just a bad experience in general. I don't usually leave feedback but this place sucks! Be warned. Also asked to be moved or get a refund for balance of stay which they would not do. Will never stay here again.

So we stayed this past weekend and enjoyed our stay. We had a water facing room. Not a fancy place. It was modern where it needed to be but still felt a bit rustic. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are big. The kitchen was great. The pool is nice. We will be staying here when we visit in the future. Now I only gave a 4 star for three small things. The blankets are a bit thin. I would have liked to have a microwave. And the parking is a little rough. Otherwise it was 5 star to us.

An older property that is clean and well cared for. Beautiful canal with comfy lounge chairs behind, centrally located, much more affordable than other offerings. Liked the kitchenette and large room, bath could use updating, but was very clean, staff was courteous and helpful. we were well pleased for the price, would stay again

Very pleasantly surprised by the accommodations offered by this motel. Room was spacious, clean, included a kitchenette and nice linens. Pool was immaculate and staff couldn't have been nicer. Michael was especially helpful regarding reservation and information once we got there. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

A great resort at a most affordable price. We paid $65 including taxes for our stay on December 27. The room was very well decorated and spacious at the same time. It had a kitchen, a dining table and a bed. In other words it was living room + dining space + a kitchen with all the necessary tools to cook a meal for 4.

Thinking back it's amazing that the room was so things at the same time without appearing cluttered.

The patio had a view of the backwaters and the greenhouses. This in itself should be worth more than the price we paid for it.

Staffs were really helpful as well. I forgot to ask the name of the lady who checked us in at night. Bruce helped us with our check-out on 28th December morning.

    Thank You for your hospitality!
