Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location: right on Naples Beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were excellent. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. And the view! You can't beat it.
This hotel is great! The rooms are very spacious, wood floored, and the pool is great. It's also right off the beach! I'd definitely stay here again
I want to thank everyone at the edgewater for your professionalism, from the beach Adrian, Allen, David and George. The tiki bar is the best ever, Greg and Cory and all the countless others that work outside in that heat to make everything perfect!!! Thank you!
She hotel was clean and nicely appointed. The pool was so loud and and group of teenagers took over playing water polo. They threw a ball around hitting people on the deck and in the pool. The staff changed every day so no one said anything to stop the take over of the pool. The smaller pool was closed so we were confined to the edges of the pool. One afternoon they were told that no balls were allowed in the pool. That was it because they were back the next day with that ball. Why couldn’t they go to the beach ! The last day I complained go ghe towel attendant and his response was”they are leaving today so I am going to let them play. Unfortunately we were leaving also. Bob at the desk was very sympathetic when I told him how unhappy we were about the pool. We did go go the beach but my husband had two knee replacements and he is not steady on the sand. We love a nice pool . Too bad.
Very elegant yet upscale small hotel right on the beach. Even and f you are not a hotel guest it is worth having breakfast or lunch on the terrace outside where you can see the waves crest on the beach. Lobster Benedict and Belgian waffles are good.
Spectacular views, Just a little over priced for a cockroach infested room. We had them spray for the bugs but the next day we switched rooms because the bugs never went away. They comp'd one nights stay, beach bed for a day and a free lunch at their ridiculously overpriced restaurant that features less than mediocre food but wait. We get the check after the meal and the front manager said it wasn't comp'd that that wasn't part of the agreement although we were issue a voucher for 4 free lunches. Oh and the beds are hard as a rock. Some of the light fixtures were missing bulbs. A night stand drawer pull came off with little to no effort. The air conditioning was grossly inefficient and some of the furniture and decorations are worn or have damage.
Nice hotel/resort. Rooms were updated and modern. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 2 older kids and one baby. The master closet was so big someone could have used it as a bedroom ;) Living area and dining area were ample. Couches stiff. Water pressure was good. Kitchen could have used an electric stovetop, but at least it had a full size fridge. Balconies spanned the width of the hotel room, but were very narrow and looked out on walkways of their rooms that overlooked the pools. We could still see the beach though. They had two volleyball pools, and access directly to the beach. Beach chairs are free but you have to pay for umbrellas and anything else. Don’t forget your towel cards, because it is strictly one per guest. Hotel restaurant is convenient, staff friendly, but I was hoping for more creative dishes for the price.
Hotel does not deserve 4 stars. Pool toilettes are less clean than those you find on a turnpike. Paid $100 extra for pool side suite that could not enjoy because of too many mosquitos.Traces of mold and rust. Unprotected bare electrical wires in a damaged pool lamppost! ( Immediately fixed as reported!)Poor security: pool side suite main door opens on open parking lot! Not a four star boutique hotel but a glorified travel Lodge with exaggerated prices.
Beautiful location on the ocean. Has two pools for those that prefer. Only 5 minutes away from 5th Ave. This is 12 years on a row we have visited.
Amazing location and great staff. I loved this place and would come back in a heart beat.
Beautiful hotel on the beach. Fabulous amenities and 5 star service. Very good 4 star food. Fair price for 2 nights.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating ,the beach was pleasant I had a great time and the room was very nice, modern and well put together. But when booking I specifically told them I want a room with an ocean view right out on the ocean I even called back the hotel booking not a 3rd party booking the hotel booking ans stated make sure its a room on the water 1st floor . Got there not so I now have a view of the pool not the ocean must sit in the corner of the room to see the ocean call the front desk no room available at this time with that option. They need to work on the way the rooms are presented at booking.
The hotel in general was good, and the two bedroom suite was very pleasant visually, decoration pleasing, amenities reasonable, layout worked well except the unseen elevator shaft sandwiched in the middle, unseen and unknown until it was called, and then the noise of the motor kicked in until the elevator was stationary. Not great for a premium priced room. So we were kept awake until the last person went to bed and awoken when the first person got up. We spoke to the front desk who agreed this was a known problem, and the room rate was halved for the first night and remaining nights $100 knocked off. We could have changed rooms to stay in the "same" room on north side, but was told same problem persists, or, an endless array of changes to different rooms. We stayed where we were. I felt mis-sold, having booked this 4000 miles away, paying in advance, this had a dishonest taste to it. I didn't expect to pay $700+ per night and be kept awake by an elevator gear / motor / shaft, we paid less after discount but did not feel it was commensurate with what was actually provided. The hotel's final offer was "you can leave if you don't like"well, we booked this well in advance from England - leave to go where? What kind of offer is that!! Shocking. Buyer Beware.
