This is a real review. I've been getting screwed by mechanics all over town that either don't know what they are doing or don't care but still want to charge you both arms and legs. Mike, the manager of this place will make sure your car gets fixed the right way at the best rate possible. Thanks Mike!!!

Came in today December 14, 2017 at 8:20, 4 ppl ahead of me, so I got hungry & left at 10:20a.m. gave them my phone number, they never called. Called them at 3:00p.m put me on hold to talk to mechanic who never came to the phone, desk person gets back on phone said they would call when it was ready.. Never called, called them at 4:00 since they close at 5, said it was almost finished, decided to just go back & they still wasn't finished! It's now 4:20 Wow! I don't think I should have left, because I think they took everyone else ahead of me, since I wasn't present.

My wife Krystal and I have had numerous repairs done at this location. Mike and the mechanics are always very friendly, professional and helpful. They do good work at good prices. We come to this Ed's location, even though we live closer to another one, because of the great customer service.

As far as auto shops go, Eds on Owen drive is pretty much the best I've been able to find. I've been bringing my work truck here for years, for everything from routine maintenance to major repairs, and I've never had a problem with these guys. Their head mechanic is very knowledgeable and, thanks to the manager (Mike), the customer service is excellent. They do however get very busy sometimes, so if you're in a hurry it might be best to call before you go.

I will not return. I arrived as soon as they opened at 8am. My service was simple, I purchased my own 4 tires for a Dodge Charger and only needed a mount and balance for each tire, alignment, and NC inspection. The car sat in the exact parking spot that I left it until about 10:30, after multiple complaints, the finally took the car to the back to begin service. I was notified then notified that their state inspection machine was out of order and I could not get it inspected today and to take it to another shop. Here it is, almost 11:30 and my car is STILL on the lift and was told it will not be done until almost 12:00! This was an utterly ridiculous and horrible experience and I will not return and will NOT recommend anyone to take their vehicle here.
Update: I was just told that their alignment machine was now not working. So I have been here for almost 4 hours and all I have got for service was 4 tires mounted. 😡😡😡😡😡response / report this review -

The manager and staff are super friendly! I know that the manger personally goes out of his way to help his customers! The place is always super clean! It's a great place to save $$ and get the honest truth about your vehicle!

I went in with a tire that i thought needed repair, only to find out thay it was unrepairable because of a nail in the tire wall. Pablo did a great job with the tire fixed promptly. The reason I keep going back is Mike. He is always cheerful, honest and fair. His friendly demeanor is why I only use this location. The guys here are awesome!

I am writing a revision to my last review and upgrading my rating of this business after receiving a phone call directly from the owner. I will be back to give Eds another shot strictly based on customer service alone. I believe any business willing to go the extra mile and values their customers is worth sticking with. I will keep the bulk of my last review so that the progression off the situation can be seen. Thank you Eds for great customer service.
I brought my truck in for a front brake replacement around 11 am and was told it would take maximum of an hour and a half, they would call me. I walked over to The Dog House bar and grill for lunch (which was great btw) and came back two hours later. They had not pulled my truck in to start the job so I patiently waited until they did then went back to the dog house. Two hours later I walked back over and they had finished the job. I paid cash for a $370 job and got into my truck to find grease stains on my door handles and steering wheel.response / report this review -

Ed's Tire went above and beyond to provide great customer service . My son is stationed at Fort Bragg and needed new tires Asap. And we all know that our military guys don't get paid much. I live in Texas so I was able to charge over the phone with my card . After several places denied to help me . The great customer service at Eds has made my soilders life such a safer stituation having new tires on his truck . A BIG THANK YOU TO ED'S TIRE & AUTO SERVICE !!! Thank you for taking care of my son I highly recommend ED'S !!!
