One of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Safely chain on door had been removed, side chair was filthy, pillows looked slept on, refrigerator and microwave did not work, hair dryer missing, mold in shower, air conditioner/heating unit had front cover removed and you could see the filthy inside. Woke up coughing and hope it does not turn into some airborne illness. The bed was comfortable as long as I blocked out the image of how filthy the mattress was. We were in town for the Christmas Jam and it is conveintly located for Uber service. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and every one of them beats this place

I have noticed that there are a lot of negative reviews about this Motel, but I don't see how. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was just as good as any other Motel 6. The manager who was working the desk was very friendly and gave us a deal of $40 a night since we were on our honeymoon. He also gave us great recommendations on activities and places to eat. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. The cleaning lady came and delivered fresh towels and wash rags everyday. I recommend to anyone who wants a basic room and doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg.

Cigarette burns in the covers, mind you its a non smoking room. Water was dripping all night in the tub. Seen a baby roach I was like okay its only for 6 hrs just deal with it. Slept on top of the covers. Water pressure was so low I thought I didn't turn it on right.Then to top it off woke up to the Momma Roach we checked out at 8:30 in the morning! We went to see Kevin Hart his show was over about 2 am so i paid $110 for a hotel room for 6 hrs, they should be shut down I can not see how people was still showing up. I booked through Choice hotels but never again that is a bad reflection of them. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Parking is horrible, its so much ugh I'm over it.

Cheapest price for the location. Very kind & helpful staff. Staff is reason we booked a room for 1 night. Wanted to enjoy the local brewery and foods after business was finished with. Great town. Walking friendly.

We evacuated Florida for Hurricane Irma. When we checked into our room we noticed a used Q-tip on the floor by the bed. We also noticed a used band aid on the floor in the bathroom. There were leftover drinks in the refrigerator. Also, the bed spread had cigarette burns in it on both beds. Since the hotel was full we stayed. The next morning the staff started asking how soon we were leaving 2 hours before check out. They kept coming by the door as we were packing. Not knowing our next destination because of the storm we asked is we could extend check out for an hour. They said sure but we would have to pay money. We were out of the room by 11am which is the check out time. While we were saying goodbye to relatives who were staying one more night we were told they were going to charge us if we stayed in their room. I later found out that they had a special "hurricane" rate for evacuees but we were charged full price. The place is filthy and the staff is rude. The hotel was 100% booked with Florida evacuees. They did not treat any of us with any compassion as we all watched the hurricane rip through our home towns the previous night. They just wanted their money.

I rather enjoyed my stay at the Econo Lodge Biltmore. Which is quite the opposite of my last time I stayed at an Econo Lodge. I had the utter misfortune of traveling with a narcissistic sociopath at the time. Let's just say that there are very few things that an abusive cheating narcissistic sociopath will not gladly ruin. However on this trip I found not only the company but also this Econo Lodge to be quite excellent. The room was exceptional, well laid out, and clean. The bathroom and vanity area were top notch. The bed was quite comfortable and slept exceptionally well. The free coffee in the morning wasn't bad either. An their rate for a room in this area simply can't be beat. I would highly recommend the Econo Lodge Biltmore to anyone looking for comfortable, enjoyable, and affordable accommodations.

Total poop. Underwear not cleaned up in bathroom. AC not avail although some type of fan in system was running. Called two days before telling me rate was not avail after email confirm. Shady, dicey and suspect is best way to describe. Total poop again. Get it together people.

Wouldnt even give it a star. Stayed their one night and payed for two. Then the lady up front randomly decided to kick me out. Payed me my deposit but said I wouldn't get my money back for the next night due to it being 11:15 Because checkout is 11. Its such bullsh#t. Worse place for vacation. Stay at motel six. Its nicer and cheaper. I seriously wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person.

The check in was rough, very rude and just not very polite.
But over the few days we stayed things were pretty nice otherwise. Nice waitstaff, room was nice nothing bad to say about that.
Area of the town is perfect as it's just a few miles away from the mall, a few miles from the Biltmore and center section of a bunch of restaurants.
Great location, nice rooms and solid service minus the early hiccup.response / report this review -

We had a pleasant stay here and the guy who checked us in was very kind (Jake). We got a great rate for the area. The room was nicely updated, and relatively clean. The beds were clean and comfy but the washcloths (although they were obviously bleached and clean) had hair stuck to them. Gross. The walls were thin and you could here just about everything going on outside because of a half inch crack in the bottom of the door (that also let in leaves and debris)we left the bathroom light and fan on for white noise and slept very well. The room was equipped with a fridge and microwave as well as a hair dryer and one cup coffee maker.
Overall a pleasant stay for a good price. We will likely return if we're in the area again.response / report this review -

We saved $100 by staying here and taking a uber into town. It was quite,clean and the staff were all pleasant. I could tell they had done updates recently. No it wasn't the Grove Park Inn , but it was perfect for the little getaway we needed! Don't pass it up just because of the location. Uber was $6 into central downtown!

The location Was great there was a lot of construction going on. The rooms were clean and nice. The service was awful. We arrived at midnight and just needed to sleep and the man was a completely rude towards me and some others that were behind me just needing a room for the night as well
