Good for the price. Breakfast was adequate for a quick meal. Room carpet needs cleaning.

Staff was very nice, especially the night shift guy. If you're looking for a place to just lay your head down at night, it's comfortable enough. Room and bathroom were clean which is important. No AC in rooms, but there are boxed fans which is nice. Rooms could really use some updating and upgrading to more modern decor. Their logo may have evolved but their rooms haven't. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special but it had the basics which is all that matters. Wouldn't necessarily be the first place I'd recommend to others though.

Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. Despite checking in at 7:00 PM, our room had not been cleaned and there was no housekeeping staff on site. We were asked to wait in our car while the front desk associate cleaned the room since the hotel was 'booked' for the night (there were very few cars in the lot). We ended up canceling our reservation and settling in at the Comfort Inn just down the street.

Service staff was very nice and friendly and helped with all needs. Rooms don't have a.c. but they do have a box fan to ventilate the room. I actually paid less here than magic carpet and left the magic carpet because it had a smell of marijuana in the room. They serve a continental breakfast in the morning and it really helps given that everything in this city is pricy for tourist. I paid a flat 214$ and got the room from just calling the office. I would recommend this place considering that i saved money and felt comfortable in my overnight stay with two queen beds and a breakfast, also free parking.

The rooms were excellent for the price. Breakfast was fair. Better than others at this level. Near the highway for quick access to area. Definitely recommend for a cheap stay near Monterey.

Company accidently booked me here, 2 nights in a row on a Sunday and Monday night/morning loud kids in parking lot.
Refrigerator was so loud at night i had to unplug it to sleep. They said they were going to replace it and never did.. i rebooked to another place for the rest of the week the thermostat was useless. .. it was either extremely hot or freezing the amount of artificial light entering the room was staggering! Good luck actually falling asleep here!
Only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the staff was friendly.response / report this review -

Very clean, friendly staff. TV didn't have signal but could have been due to weather. The heater is a little slow but works. Great experience!
