Good trails able to take whole family out for an awesome day
Awesome off road park! Hill climb after hill climb!
We go every June for trike fest great place to ride
I went on my xc trx250ex , it was fun but most of the trails are rutted and rocky from jeeps and erosion. , if the trails were better maintanied it would be a great place to ride , also drinking is allowed in the park and to me that is not acceptable at all drinking and riding is not a good mix in any way.
Better come have fun and say some prayers to god..lol
Great place for family fun!! Don't miss out on the chance!! The best off road park around 👍👍
Great trails and great price, only $20 for a day pass. I would have liked to have seen more bathrooms or portapotties though. But great place to ride
Had a blast with my Best Friend Pete
Great place to rip it up and get muddy also has a mx track which is cool
Il start with gps cellular service down there..0 reception till you get on top of hill.. Ull lose it about ten miles out. Sits a top a mountain behind the town of laurel. Best to print out map. It's 700 acres of up or down trails, 100 acres of flatground. So if you don't know your vehicle stick to the main trail. There's no flags, but rarely do you go over 15mph because of the hills. Nice beat down wide trails so your not scuffing your ride. Was there two days and probobly rode 50% of the trails. Be Leary of mudholes. If it looks deep probobly is. People are very kind and will lend a hand if your stuck. There's places that will test a vet riders abilitys so don't just choose a hill to go down. We showed up at past hours and still got firewood delivered to site so 5 stars it is. Owners very nice. Will be back. We ride 4x4 quads and rzrs.
I've grown up riding here so I have nowhere else to compare it to. Best place ever and being on a dirt bike is the most fun thing I know. This place has challenged me through the years and help me grow my skills. Tons of beginner intermediate and difficult riding, you pick your own line that is the beauty of the placethere are no rules and no designated trails you have to stay on, if you want to ride somewhere blaze the trail (if you can even find virgin land anyways 'cause someone's tried to ride up it at some point) so for all the whiners out there, having the freedom to literally ride wherever is half the fun, if I had to follow a map and stay on this designated orange trail and have my hand held it wouldn't be fun.
They could do some grooming though, because yeah I agree, staff can be lazy sometimes and rude at the front desk, they do bring out the water sprayer for the dry days. The mudpit on the SW side needs reworking, and some major runoff ruts filled in for the main trail to be a little more accessible by a truck hauling a trailer or RV. And do not go when it has been raining for a week straight, it's not fun, you spin your tires and can't make it anywhere. As far as people complaining about the restrooms, it is an off-road park, everyone has mud on them boohoo if there is mud when you go to the bathroom, just go in the woods, and primitive camp, don't expect luxury and you'll be fine. Make a fire and grill out your own stuff don't expect their restaurant to be open. You're going to have a good time in the woods with your friends on your toys, get over it.
This place has sand, clay, mud, lakes, creeks, rock crawling, hill climbs, motocross track, supercross track, dirt drag strip, Campground, UTV track, main trails, get lost in the back of the woods trails, and my personal favorite hare scramble trails marked with the orange arrows nailed to trees, it's a lot of fun to try and follow the hare scramble trails to see if you could keep up in a race if I were ever to enter one. This place will scare you push you and calm you. So much fun.
Takeaways are don't go when it's been raining for a week because it will be a no fun mud pit, don't go on national holidays because it will be super crowded unless you want the routy party scene, and don't expect much as far as facilities and if you're good primitive camping and can have fun with it and are there to ride your toys anyways you'll have a great time!
This is a good place to ride a dirt bike if you like the woods scene. I am a track/motocross Guy. This place really is not made for me. The track was like concrete, but if you ride non competitively and are slow it is fine. Not to make fun, trust me you don't want to crash going fast on the MX track.
