The food was good, the ambience was great. The service could've been better. We were given dirty plates which we had to replace. There was a high volume of customers on the day we went there, that could've been the reason for the mediocre service. I had a little difficulty in locating the restaurant. Limited street parking, also you only have the option of Valet parking at the restaurant.
Food is always delicious 5 stars, but our waiter was not helpful nor attentive did not really care did not know the beer from light or dark and brought us wrong beer told us to wait with his hand up with attitude and since we had a big group gratuity was included he got a 18% $80 tip that we felt he did not deserve. He did not even split the check since we wanted seperate Checks we felt robbed. If you decide to go ask for Mike
As your waiter he is the complete opposite. Other than that waiter it's great restaurant.
Fabulous. That is my one word in review. Upscale, pricey, soothing environment, valet parking and sometimes there might be a wait; but, it is well worth the wait! Don't forget your desert! Even if you are full from your wonderful meal, get desert and take it with you home. Their wide selection of gelato makes it difficult to decide. But, it goes ontheir bakery whips up all kinds of creations like fruit tarts and the like. Of course, there is tiramisu.
Great cafe with food faithfully prepared in the Italian tradition: simple and very fresh ingredients combined for outstanding taste. Our family of five (two adults and 3 young kids) had two different kinds of pizzas and devoured everything. Then we shared three different desserts (all excellent; it was a tie between the panna cotta and the cannelloni for top place.) This place may be a bit out of the way, but it is a hidden gem.
Very friendly staff. Quick to meet and great. Very spacious. Clean. And best of all the food is delicious!
Great place to eat for Italian food. The dessert bar is great you walk up to it and tell them what you want
The food has always been excellent over the 7+ times I've been there. The pizzas are thin crust, just the way I like them. Some of the pasta is made there, some isn't. The pasta dishes and entries are Soo tasty. You must try their pastries or gelato if you still have room. The coffee drinks are just right. Don't let the area scare you, it's worth it.
The description of this place read "barebones" and I was expecting nothing but a smelly little deli. Thankfully, the place turned out to be much more classy and larger than I expected! So thrilling to see their cheese-making section on the one hand, the wood fired pizza oven on another and rows of delectable pastries on yet another! I had their delicious cappuccino (one of only a handful of places that serve coffee that I find acceptable in all of LA), a really well done cannolini, and their fresh bread with olive oil. I'm going back for their risottos, pastas and pizzas. Meanwhile, the server was nice enough to oblige my request for a sample of their cheese. If that soft and creamy bite of mozzarella is anything to go by, one can safely presume the rest of their menu is going to be of a better than average standard. A perk for vegetarians such as myself- LOTS of options to choose from!
Excellent food . Its located in an odd industrial place but don't get fooled food is delicious! Tip:try to get street parking if not you will have to pay for valet parking. Parking is not free in this place! I repeat it is not free. For dessert you can have up to 2 free gelato samples which bummed be out because there were so many flavors I wanted to try. So pick your 2 free samples wisely.
Located in an Industrial part of town, this restaurant has its own parking lot. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there was a steady flow of people coming in. Food and service was great. We enjoyed all the desserts.
The food is good. Parking is tight, so plan on the possibility of searching for street parking. Staff is busy but friendly. I'd recommend for a large party, (but anticipate some wait time).
When I first arrived I wasn't too sure about this place looks like a warehouse factory feel parking is a little limited but once we got inside I saw there was many people the place is clean and it really gives you that Italian feel the lasagna and pizza are amazing the cheese is freshly made there waiters are friendly and helpful on helping you decide what to order will definitely be here again very soon
Wonderful pasta!!! Terrific ambiance! Open warehouse like setting. And the best part? It's truly authentic!!!
A very neat place for delicious Italian food, dessert, beers, wines, gelato the restaurant is like a hidden gem tucked into what seems like an industrial neighborhood. Once you walk inside this warehouse looking place, you will see a lot of tables set up neatly where you will also get personal with your server. They give excellent service and suggestions., there are so many dishes to try, I am definitely going back and I hope soon too! Don't forget to save room for all their sweets!!
Attentive service and perfect pizza. Their pizza is, pleasantly, not a thick slab of dough overflowing with overly sweet tomato sauce. Rather, very light and crispy dough and crust. Seems like they carefully select the meats, cheeses, and sauce, in just the right proportions. Also, pizza was a great price for the size. Although thin and light, I wouldn't call the pizza "flatbread". As for specific pizzas, I got the Rock and my wife got a pizza with mozzarella, oregano, and anchovies. Good selection of quality gelatos.
