Very nice fields. Grass infields a plus. Concession stands pretty reasonable.
The best Dog Park in Dothan.
Houses a wide open archery range, frisbee golf and lake. The landscaping is always well maintained, even in the dog park.
The bathrooms are well maintained as well.
The road into the park is dirt and rock which will sometimes be dusty after vehicle traffic if there hasn't been any rain, but other than that it is a great park.
The hours of operation throw me off at times. It opens late on the weekends and is closed on Holidays (locked and chained) so unfortunately one or two family outings had to be rescheduled :(
The Dothan city website will occasionally post when the park will be closed, but isn't always reliable.
Very clean and open. The lake is beautiful. The closed in fence for the dogs are great in size.
Very nice place to throw a party, reunion, etc. Has plenty of space to have fun and really enjoy yourself. Would have given 5 stars, but they should include a little more for the price they charge.
Nice dog park. 2 miles course walking and frisbee golf
Great park with a nice disc golf area. Very clean park.
Love the trail.
We love the dog park and disc golf course!
This is a nice park although not a lot of amenities. The tennis court is a little worn out but still usable. We played the new disc golf course. Pretty plain, not many obstacles save for the occasional cow patty. If you play in the late fall there's a pecan tree after the 2nd hole. All the pecans you can carry.
Beautiful park. Came to play the disc golf course and loved it. There is also a great dog park, archery range, running/walking loop, and plenty of room for people to spread out.
I thought it was beautiful and I can't wait to take our dogs to the park and try the walking trail. I tried to fish there at the first pond for an hour and a half, but no so much as a nibble. Maybe it needs restocking? I didn't see the second pond, but I think you have to walk a path to it. You can't drive very far into the park, you just have to carry all your gear however far you want to go, so don't bring a lot and wear comfy shoes you can walk far in. I was wishing for a golf cart or something to get around the pond.
