I was visiting family in Tipton for my vacation so I called East Street Inn before I left Tennessee. When I got there, I thought it looked like a drug den, and honestly didn't want to stay there. I had brought my wife and 2 kids with me, and we had been in the van for 6 hours so we gave them the benefit of the doubt for a night. It was quite a surprising experience, the rooms were extremely clean and it was more spacious then I thought it would be. The staff was very kind, and extremely helpful even leaving the key in a secure place after hours to make sure that I could access it at 430am when we arrived. As well as it was reasonably priced for 3 days. 5 stars is not enough, will definitely return on my next vacation.

Absolutely terrible!! Saw a roach in my room and friends had a mouse in their room! Dirty and smelled terrible! Drive whatever distance you must to find some place else to stay!!

These reviews have to be from the owners family. This place is horrible! Room did not look like the picture. Had 2 young boys with me and I was afraid to stay there. Walked into the room saw the lack of security and left drove the rest of the way home rather than stay there. Safer to drive tired than to stay there

Clean sheets, warm shower and decent tv with plenty of channels, but small musty smelling room. Hard mattress and leaking toilet.

Very comfortable stay, large room (1 queen, 2 twin beds), kitchenette. Shower was great! Would stay here again! No breakfast but for the price we can eat elsewhere. Also recommend eating at Izzy & Eddys.

My wife and I stayed here while I was in town to preach in a Gospel Meeting for the Tipton church of Christ which meets at 622 West Jefferson Street. We arrived on a Saturday and left the following Thursday. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed the convenience of the kitchen in our room. The location of the inn is great as it afforded us opportunities to take some pleasant walks through the lovely town of Tipton.

Very very clean, the lady at the desk was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure I had a good stay. When I pass back through I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very clean nice rooms the kitchen it is very beautiful and clean they have a nice bench in the back to sit out very beautiful place management is very nice friendly r

Terrible every time, we stay here almost every summer and our ac unit has not worked each time, do NOT stay here. We also found a random cell phone that nobody in the office claimed or knew about it. Very sketchy wondering whose in your room when your working all day.

Staying here right now. Rooms are large 2 rooms, one with a full bed, another with 2 twins, all separated by a small kitchen with a full refrigerator, 2 burners to cook on, a sink, toaster and coffee maker. Dishes and flatware there, too.
Clean, comfortable and exactly what I'd expect here. No bugs! Room rates are reasonable and the staff is friendly.response / report this review
