Room is very clean, space to move around . You don't feel cramped.
Checking in was smooth. Great staff.
The only thing that needs attention, is the jets on the hot tub and the temperature(needs to be warmer).

Older but well cared-for, clean hotel. Pleasant staff. Great proximity to Ball State. Overall great value. Would definitely stay here again!

The only reason we picked that hotel was for the hot tub, and pool. We got in the jot tub, it smelled like mildew and old dirty socks. It was very cold, the pool was extremely cold. There were kids jumping in and out of the hot tub and pool screaming loudly. Apparently there was 2 birthday parties going on the time we reserved our stay. It was a nightmare. So we got out, went to our rooms to change and relax. So we tried again the next night and we were excited that there weren't any kids, so we decided to try the hot tub one more time, it was still freezing. I went and the guy to turn it up he said he had to drain it due to the kids there at the birthday party, and it would not be hot until the next day. Well we were leaving that morning. I was very unsatisfied. I also had ask the housekeeper for a few extra towels and she was not polite. She acted like she had to go out of her way to get them. They only nice I can say Hood about the hotel is that the front desk workers were very polite. Would I recommend staying there not at all.

Clean, comfortable place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and seems to be recently updated. Rooms are good size and have everything you need to a wonderful stay. Pool area looked wonderful but we did not have a chance to swim. Breakfast is wonderful. They offer a large choice of breakfast items and even have a pancake machine.

Jared and the rest of the staff are wonderful. They are kind and extremely helpful. Our group definitely feels welcome and at home every year when we stay for Ball State Homecoming. We will never change hotels. I only wish the price hadn't gone up this year.

The hotel staff and rooms were wonderful. We stayed here twice during the week. The kids loved the pool, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and Kathy who makes breakfast took the time to talk to us and make sure we were welcome.

The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Older building but rooms were clean . Overall experience was great. Would stay there again.

Stayed here before. Staff at front desk are awesome, rooms are nice, new a/c and heater units. However, this stay there was a half full water bottle at the sink and the towels were loosely folded

Besides all the bed bugs and silver fish that were crawling aroundand the strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room that was said to be a non-smoking room, it was great! There was a nice selection of prostitutes to choose from, though, hanging out down by the cloudy pool. If ever I have to choose between shooting myself in the rectum and staying there again, I would totally choose that place again, assuming that my gun is out of ammo. Cheers! Oh, and don't forget to pack your own toilet paper. Apparently they can't afford any of that, either.

Check in was fine. Hotel was clean. Nice pool. Room very basic but clean. Beds were very bouncy and not comfortable but served our purpose during our stay. Bathroom was very small. My checkout was not so good. They printed my receipt and they had checked out the wrong guest instead of me. Check out took a long time. They never offered me express checkout so that's why I had to go to the front desk. Other than that the hotel was basic and served as a decent clean place to sleep. Minutes down the street from Ball State which was great.

I'm currently on the floor of my room. The beds are the issue. I am in room with two Full beds, that are creaky and soft in the middle. The beds hurt my back. I am here for the week working 12 hour days, it would be nice to come back to, at least, a comfy chair. Nope! The room just seems outdated. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because the shower stayed warm and the water kept a consistent flow.

Bed bug & ant infested. Filthy. I am only giving this motel a 1 star because I can not give it a zero and still post the review. I stayed in this motel several times in the past with no problem. In June 2016, my stay was disrupted by bed bug bites that I had a strong allergic reaction to. Unfortunately, I did not understand that the 1-inch diameter red swellings with the bite mark in the middle were from bed bugs, and I stayed there five nights. A family member suggested bed bugs and looked up how to find them. Using a spot-light head lamp, I found one bed bug hiding on the pillow under the pillow case. It looked like a small sesame seed that contracted when I poked it with my finger nail. I also found a tiny black dot on the sheets that smeared red-brown when I drug my finger across it. That is what bed bug feces looks like. The motel reimbursed my medical expenses (Dr. visit, 10 day course of antibiotics and prednisone) and two of the five nights I stayed there. My request of full refund was denied. Closer inspection of the room revealed trash, food and ants under the chair seat cushion & moldy shower curtains. The management shrugged and said "you know how housekeeping is." If you decide to try this motel, ask to see the room first, look under the seat cushions, in the corners, under the furniture to see if housekeeping is doing its job. Better yet, save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

I've traveled on the road for the past 35 years 3 to 4 nights a week in a hotel. After a long day you like to be welcomed by a friendly face and easy check in. The property and appearance of the hotel was outstanding. The owner and it's staff take great price in the upkeep of this hotel. I was offered a 1st floor King room without even asking. The room was very comfortable and clean and a slept like a baby. The breakfast selection was ample and it filled me up for a wonderful day ahead. Last if you are going to any outing at BALL STATE UNIVERSITY this is the place to stay. You can walk to anywhere you need to go on campus. GO BALL STATE!!!! " I'll be back
