2916 Palm Blvd IOP is infested with german cockroaches AND palmetto bugs with little concern from East Island Rentals. We rented this house for our wedding and as soon as we checked in, I noticed the kitchen counter was covered in them. My fiance told me that it was probably just one or two until we did a round of the house. They were in the bedrooms, the bathrooms, outside, the laundry room. In the morning the pool was covered in them.

We called East Island Rentals and they told us that we must have left the doors open. Listen, we live in Charleston now and I am not stupid, there is a huge difference between german cockroaches and palmetto bugs. They are both gross but if you have german cockroaches running around during the daylight, (the ones in NY) you are infested. Well this house has it all folks. If you rent this unit be prepared to buy a twelve pack of Raid. My biggest concern was them crawling on the kids at night and I am sure they did (check the pics). These are just a few of the ones. In fact I told our wedding photog to get pics for the album.

There were a number of other issues we had with East Island Rentals, one including the pool did not work after we paid over $400 to have it heated. It was so hot a few of the kids were overheating. We called East Island and they said that it was a normal temp and bitched about turning it down.

The biggest issue was Mr. Co-owner Steve did not realize we had it in writing that we were having our wedding there. He came to the house the DAY of the wedding screaming and threatening my family if we had the wedding that he would call the police. My fiance and I own a company and get everything in writing always, so when we showed it to him he just left pissed off. No customer service skills and no respect. Thank goodness I was getting my hair done with the kids when he did this. I still cried for hours because of his inconsiderateness to my family. Let me tell you, we would NEVER ever treat our customers he way Steve treated us.

I will NEVER use this company or refer them. Trust me if you rent from them and have an issue expect the customer service you would receive at walmart.

The home we stayed in was breathtaking , right on the ocean and the customer service could not have been better . They took care of all our needs and made our stay fabulous . I will definitely book through East Islands again.

If you are headed to the Charleston area and looking for a great beach rental on Isle of Palms, East Islands Rentals is your best bet for great options and awesome customer service. The properties are clean and well-maintained and the staff are very attentive to your needs. Isle of Palms is a great place for a family vacation and East Islands has a lot of good rental choices for families. Our family always loves our visits to the Isle of Palms and East Islands is always ready to assist us with our accommodations.

East Islands Rentals has recently been the vacation of a lifetime! After booking with the wonderful staff, every amenitiy was more than I had imagined, clean, deluxe, perfect! Can't wait to go back, a true paradise and we felt special indeed! This is a 5 star experience and more!

Fantastic rental company. My family likes to travel and are sometimes disappointed by rental companies. We like to come to Charleston once a year and we have been nothing short of impressed each time we use East Island Rentals. Friendly staff, quick to resolve any problems, the homes are always well maintained. Highly recommend!
