A great value (based on your rate of course)! Room and hotel grounds were clean. Fitness center had enough stuff to get in a quick workout. I was impressed by the breakfast as I expected just cereal and oatmeal, but out came eggs, biscuits and sausage, plus pancakes! If it's in your vicinity you really can't go wrong.

My son and I spent three nights while we skied over spring break. It is a great basic hotel. Clean. Nice staff. Trisha at check in was great. Good restaurant recommendation. Other skiers and construction workers staying here.

Great Hotel and Friendly Staff. Rooms are always kept in great shape. Stay here while traveling and is always a great place the indoor pool and hot tub we're great as well. My room also had a Jacuzzi Whirlpool in the bedroom which is great if you're planning a romantic night.

Stayed here because it was 1/4 of the cost of Vail lodging. 30 minute drive to Vail. Location is far enough from I-70 to be relatively quiet. It's and old Holiday Inn with a new paint job. The silver/gray wall in the reception are was not a good choice. Overall, it's actually a nice hotel.

Pros: Decent bed, nice tv, " powerful" toilet flush, pool/hot tub. A good "budget" option.

Cons: crappy heat/ac units, a cramped sub-par breakfast experience, thin walls (hope you don't have an elephant in the room above you. I did.

Room was clean, smelled great, and comfortable. Only negative experience is below. Customer service was friendly besides the below.

This was supposed to end with a 5 star stay. Unfortunately, meeting "Paul" on our last day presented horrible customer service. One word answers, all ending with "no" or "can't do that". Would expect a little customer service training by providing alternative suggestions.

We wanted to do laundry on the last day - can only use quarters, he would charge the room for an exchange (like other hotels do). Have to drive out to Gas Station ATM, get detergent and quarters at a gas station and come back. Then ask to exchange a $10 with hotel to get additional quarters and again, a firm no can't do that. Only has quarters to change a $10 bill. When you need only one thing and it can't be donenot great. Asked about later checkout for laundry drying to finish.again - "no".

My car broke down between Gypsum and Eagle. Tow truck driver brought me to Eagle River Lodge. Very friendly staff. Paul at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

A/C in room 205 smelled strong of mold or mildew, very gross. The staff wasn't very friendly, but not mean either, just not trying to be welcoming. Besides smell, the room was great and bed comfy. I loved sitting outside. They had good views!

Lowest rates AND a free airport shuttle. And the shuttle driver is awesome.
Downside: they knocked on my door the day of checkout at 945am and then a maid knocked and tried to get in at 1015am. Both times I had a Do Not Disturb sign posted on my door. Checkout is 11am. Please do not bother your paying customer BEFORE checkout time. I paid till 11am, and darn it, I expect peace and quiet until 11am. Unless there is an emergency

A+ staff. We were on a long trip and got stuck on our way to Denver due to road closings, but I accidentally booked for the following day on Priceline. After contacting Priceline, the front desk manager was able to switch the reservation to that night so we had a place to stay while waiting out the snow and ice. The room was nice and clean, and we even got a king bed, which was super comfortable and perfect for resting and recovering from the stress of the drive. Wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

Mama Regina was the sweetest! She gave me a warm welcome and a hug goodbye! I've been traveling across the country and this was definitely the best room I've had for the money. The shower had awesome water pressure and the rooms were so clean. The added bonus is the delicious free breakfast. They don't serve that crappy OJ either. Definitely recommend staying here while in Eagle! Thanks again Mama!

Had a wonderful five night stay in a single king size room! Sean at the front desk was awesome. Lovely complimentary breakfast every morning. Super clean & nice room. Comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Highly recommend.
