This review is on behalf of a family member. MEV bought a new 2003 8- cyl, Heavy Duty 2500 6 point engine, Silverado Chev Pickup for approx $40K and paid Cash. He farms and has heavy loads so this is the type truck required for his work. When the truck was new (2003) he heard a knocking in the engine. Terry C., service manager said, "aw they put all those 6 point engines out with a knock like that" (ha, does that make sense?)..MEV said "I don't think so". Terry claimed he called GM tech to find the problem. (LIE)*** MEV took the truck back time after time & Terry said GM was supposted to call him back. MEV said "why don't you call them again?". Terry said "Oh, they'll call back". He was just pushing away a problem & disrespecting a customer. Sometime after the warranty had passed, MEV had his truck back for service and one of the floor mechanics said "I can call GM myself". So he did and was told by techs at GM it was a cracked flywheel. The mechanic checked & found that to be the problem. He fixed it but owners insisted on charging MEV $1400 for a WARRANTY JOB. **** Fastforward to 2018 Jan, MEV had his truck in for some problem. They "supposed" to fix it. A few days later, something happened, all the transmission oil ran out & he lost his transmission, broke down on the road & had to call a wrecker. Dutch's replaced the transmission which they charged MEV $3700. MEV had barely made it home one day in the "limp home" mode just prior to loss of transmission, and got under the truck & found some lines/clamps that were lose where Dutch's service man had failed to reattach causing the loss of the transmission. MEV had to have his truck to haul tobacco to market so he paid them $3700 without a fuss but was very upset and confused as to why they charged him for something they tore up. Any time MEV had his truck at Dutch's nothing had EVER been wrong with his transmission. He called for Dutch to discuss this but Dutch was out of town so next in line was his son, David. MEV explained this entire story to David & was promised it would be investigated and he would call MEV Six weeks passed, NO CALL. So I got on their page and posted some comments and messaged back & forth with Ronnie Perry who got David back into the situation. I told them they needed to call MEV and resolve this situation. (I have known MEV since 1961 & he has never cheated or been unfair in any kind of business, would never cheat anyone out of a penny, has always paid all his bills without ever a complaint. He is as honest and fair as the day is long.) Finally, after about 10 days they called MEV. THEY REFUSED ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THESE TWO HUGE MISTAKES ON THEIR PART AND ARE NOT WILLING TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WITH THIS CUSTOMER. ***NEXT STEP: REPORT TO BBB, REPORT TO YELP, REPORT TO RIPOFF REPORT, COMPLAINT TO STATE ATTY GENERAL OFFICE-DIV OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, COMPLAINT TO GENERAL MOTORS. IF NONE OF THESE METHODS WORK, THERE'S ALWAY ATTORNEYS LOOKING FOR WORK. BY WORD OF MOUTH I WILL SEE THAT EVERYBODY FAR AND NEAR KNOWS ABOUT THE SHODDY SERVICE AND DISHONEST POLICIES THAT ARE CARRIED OUT BY "DUTCH'S CHEVY-FORD".MEV HAD PLANNED TO BUY ANOTHER NEW TRUCK SOMETIME SOON FROM THEM BUT ABSOLUTELY NOT NOW OR EVER AGAIN. SHAME ON DAVID ISHMAEL AND YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT-TERRY CROUCH! GOD BLESS THE MECHANIC (SORRY I DON'T KNOW HIS NAME) ON THE FLOOR WHO TOOK RESPONSIBILITY TO AT LEAST MAKE A PHONE CALL TO GM TECH HIMSELF TO FIND OUT & FIX THE FLYWHEEL WHICH SHOULD HAVE COST CUSTOMER ZERO $.
People, if you have something wrong with your vehicle, you are taking a huge risk to trust Dutch' Chev-Ford to touch it. They can tear up your transmission then charge you $3700 to put one back. *** OVERALL ON THESE TWO HUGE FAILURES, DUTCH'S CHEV-FORD OWES MEV $5100. REMEMBER "GOD KEEPS RECORDS TOO".

Poor service, less than par workmanship, lacking all integrity behind diagnostics and repairs. Service department demonstrates zero mechanical competence. Chevy should ashamed to have these guys representing their brand and performing 'work' under their name. Steer clear of this 'Chevy Certified' repair facility!

Have done nothing but tell lie after lie! They've proven the cliche about car salesmen. We've purchased our first and last vehicle from these jagoffs.

They knew I was coming and couldn't find the key. I was test driving a car for a friend from out of state. The salesperson never felt like he should discuss the condition of the vehicle.

From my experience they are not trustworthy when it comes to the service department. They were giving us the run around with several problems we were having with our car. We ended up calling GM to complain. They are working on the problems now which is what they should have done in the beginning. By the way, this was the 3rd vehicle we had bought from them.

One of the better places I've been to buy a car. My husband & I have bought 2 vehicles there so far. The owner even comes out & asks how everyone is & offers them coffee. I take my car there for all the services needed. Seems to be reasonable for the money.

They treat you like your family. They have your best interest at heart I feel. They always go out of their way to help me. You just don't find that everywhere. Thanks for making me feel like I'm important.

It was great as always! Thank you for helping maintain my vehicle.? Of course I appreciate it however, it would be nice if you had some kind of extended hours for week day working customers that doesn't work locally.
