So much fun! We hope to come back this summer. The lights were absolutely beautiful for the Christmas season! The staff were very nice. And the park was very clean for the amount of people that was there.
Great place to take my kids. We brought the season passes and you get your money's worth from the pass. We jave gone over a dozen times this year and we live it. We want to try the camp grounds next year. There is also a water pack during the summer and it is perfect on a hot day.
Great for families with young children! We went twice this year: once during the main season and once recently for their Dutch Winter Wonderland and both times were a blast. My three year old son REALLY enjoyed Exploration Island and the animatronic dinosaurs. If you are looking for the fastest, highest, thrill rides, this may not be the be the place for you, but if a memorable day with your family is what you want, pay a visit to Dutch Wonderland!
I have been going here since I was very young, and every year I love it. We used to live closer, but now we live farther and only go one time a year. the rides are pretty good, and lines aren't very long. It's uncommon to stand in a line for over 10 mintues, maybe five. The rides are better for little ones, but anyone can enjoy it. There seasonal events are good. The new antique car ride is great. Can't wait to go back.
Great Park with rides for everyone! We were ages 6 , 8, 17 and adults in there late 40s. Many of the rides are geared towards little kids but are big enough for adults to ride with them. It was very clean and reasonably priced. It was my niece's birthday and at the front gate she was given a birthday sticker. Everywhere we went staff went out of their way to wish her a happy birthday! We all enjoyed the diving show at the little Arena. Get online because early shows can fill up fast. There is a campground directly next door that you can see from some of the rides in the park. Restaurants all around if you wanted to leave the park to eat. I'm not sure if it's technically allowed but we had no problem bringing in some outside snacks and drinks. As you can see from a few of my pictures there was also a Santa convention going on! We had a great time and will be back.
This is a great place for young kids. Something that I really like about Dutch Wonderland is that the older kids are able to go on most of the younger kids rides with them, so older siblings really get to show younger siblings around the park. We went with a group of 10 kids and 4 adults for a 10yr olds birthday party. We all had a great time (except when I went on the Twister!). There is a covered picnic spot outside of the park, so pack a cooler for lunch!
We have come to Dutch Wonderland every year for the past 5 years. Love it! Shorter lines and cleaner than Sesame Place. Kids get to go on more rides since the lines are shorter so they love it. It's PERFECT for the 8 and under crowd. It's small enough that it's not exhausting for the kids to walk around, but enough to do to make it worth the money.
Definitely catch one of the diving shows if you can! We missed them the first year, but they're surprisingly impressive.
Friendly staff, and we also love the picnic area outside to grab lunch. Also take advantage of the Preview Ticket that lets you do rides the night before, for a few hours before closing.
Definitely recommend a day here with young kids!
A really nice park with friendly attendants. Being more familiar with larger parks like Six Flags, I was pleased that there were not gift shops all over the place and that it is very walkable. The rides are appropriate for several ages of children, and many are still fun for adults, too. I will regret it when my son gets "too big" for it.
Very fun place for young kids and teens. They seem to a good job of making sure the parents can be involved. Not many great food options but they have a reduced rate after 5pm which is fantastic.
Great place to take your kids to, not much there for adults or even teens though. Best suited for families with small children. They hold many seasonal events during the winter months such as a Halloween party and Christmas lightshow. I would like to see some things for the adults to do there though.
This is a great amusement park for kids. There are a couple of coasters, but nothing extreme. My eight year old had a blast. She went on most of the rides without issues. We even watched the water show.
The price is low enough that if you leave early, you don't feel like you got shorted.
We come here every year. It is a nice place for your kid to have fun. Don't come during holiday but come before or after holiday. You will thank me later.
Went on a Saturday in Sept. We did have 2 adults with one 4 year old. Nice day. I found to park to be clean and easy to get around. They only long line was for face painting, so they may want to consider adding more artists since young children appear to be fond of it. The frog and prince show was good and the experience of the log glue was her first . Yet we were sure to let my husband be the one to gave a firm hold on her for descending larger fall. Considering going in June and adding the camping expetience. Anyone know of where I could get a coupon or promotion code for both the campground and park? Overall 4 *
