It's an okay place, you can tell it used to be Apartments of some sort, maybe they still are, I don't know. Can pretty much hear everything happening outside.

I just adore Duke Tower Condos! The Tower and Smoke Stack are from the original Pearl Cotton Mill and give a wonderful character to the setting. The grounds have been lovingly cultivated and there are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery, alone or with neighbors. It was built in '72, so it's not new, but the charm just can't be beat! To own one would be a treat!

Great value I would say, but place needs serious renovating. Sink would not drain, called that afternoon about the issue and was told it would not be fixed until the next day, which would mean after we left. Toilet when flushed would get hung up and continually run unless you pulled handle up. Outdated door lock system, regular dead-bolt key type door locks. But place was clean and it is close to a lot of places to eat.

The room was nothing fancy but it was very clean, comfortable, and more than adequate for my stay. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Loved that it was within walking distance of the Durham Farmer's Market, downtown dining and Duke's East Campus. I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay I wish there were more places like this. I stayed here with my boyfriend over 4 days and the location is great for walking distance to Brightleaf Square and Duke East Campus. The area is quiet but your not cut off from anything, any major street your on will easily get you back to the hotel. We stayed in one of the Premium suites and the only negative thing I have to say about it is you only get a small frying pan and a medium sized pot to cook with. The pan wasn't non stick either, that coupled with its size made cooking bacon and eggs for my boyfriend and I a long process. If you do stay here you should stay during warm weather because the courtyard is amazing. If I ever go back to Durham I would for sure stay here!!!!!
