Absolutely phenomenal. He is a skilled surgeon, and did an excellent job taking care of me and my knee. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone for any sort of ortho surgery.

performed a surgery on my right arm when i was a child. Didnt warn my parents of the fact the plates and pins had a high chance of irritating my tissues despite the fact they were not absolutely necessary to my healing. I do know they made my procedure even more expensive. When i complained of it during my recover he said it would go away. Years later upon my own research i find that people have to have their plates and pins removed due to irritation as often as they dont. So more surgery. My arm hurts seasonally and more than often enough to effect my life. I can't afford the surgery to remove the plates and pins yet.

My family and I have had multiple surgeries performed by Dr Sumida, (wife had 2 rotator cuff surgeries, daughter and I had meniscus repairs) and we could not b happier with our results. Dr Sumida has always taken the time to explain not only the procedure, but also what to expect after the surgery and the rehab. I am having knee replacement this July and would not have nuone but DR Sumida ro the work.
