Potential hotel guests BEWARE! THIS HOTEL IS NOT UP TO HILTON STANDARDS FOR SERVICE.
Hotel charged me for a night stay for a night I wasn't there. They also charged me for 2 meals at their restaurant that I didn't eat at and for a movie didn't order for 30.00. When I called the hotel this morning 3/22/18 @ 8:30 EST I spoke with a young fellow on the phone who was very rude and snappy (Kevin). He said that I had made a new reservation to extend my stay. I informed him that, that was not accurate. He said well that is what I show here sir. I said, and I'm telling you once again, that is not accurate. I explained to him that if I make the dispute with my credit card I will surely win the dispute since I will be able to show that I stayed at a different location closer to the airport on the night in question. His response was " if that is what you feel you need to do sir, feel free to do so" ,,,,,,,REALLY? This is how you respond to a Hilton Honors reward member who stays in their hotels 12 nights in 3 months time frame? I am not the guy who gets treated that way. I contacted Hilton directly who is allowing the property management to contact me directly to try and resolve the issue but at this point I am sounding the warning to others. The staff "Kevin" is extremely RUDE and apparently doesn't give a damn about customer service. If you stay here make sure you aren't charged for something you don't receive as you may also be met by rudeness and hostilities as I was. This isn't over with and I WILL get the night in question and all other bogus charges credited back to my credit card one way or another. Bunch of CROOKS!
After much effort on my part, I finally did get this resolved but I still can't and won't give this hotel a good review. The construction going on has obviously been going on since at least October and we are now in the end of March and the construction still isn't complete? And the noise they make in the morning is just over the top. So still my advice is to AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.
Very clean and nice hotel. The staff was very accommodating for all our requests. Free shuttle from and to the airport. Few small restaurants within a walking distance. I will definitely recommend and will stay again.
Clean facilities and rooms. Breakfast is good. However, front desk wouldn't answer phone when I called from room and when I went down to talk to them in person they were at the desk doing nothing and talking with a friend. That's all good but customer service first. And when I asked them to bring items needed to the room, they never showed. That needs some work. Customer service is the most important and although the hotel is nice and all to me that doesn't mean as much. I give it 4 stats because of the facilities. I give it 2 stars for front desk service.
There is a restaurant here and the food was delicious. Got a free breakfast as well which was awesome. Night manager was real nice. Now that I mention it, morning manager was nice as well. My only problem with this place is the construction going on. It was snowing pretty hard when I visited Double Tree and we had to go in and out the side door which was a pain. Our driver thought the place was closed.
So pleased with my stay here. My family was handed warm cookies when we arrived. Rooms are quiet, modern, and very clean. Room service available from restaurant on first level. Nice indoor pool and hot tub area. Staff have all been very friendly and efficient. Will definitely stay again.
Old Rooms are antiqued. The staff are very helpful and nice. The shuttle service could be better, offering more. It's 2.2 miles from the light rail to get downtown.
Employees are nice and helpful. Breakfast is really good. Not impressed with the pool (which was super cloudy then closed) and hot tub(closed one day then not hot when it was open). On my last day there I had no hot water for my shower. They say if you have a problem they will make right. Their response was "oh sorry" that was it. I don't call that making it right.
Great hotel stay! They were remodeling but the location was in great shape. Rooms were very nice and modern. Front desk was friendly. Also, room service was surprisingly fast. Overall, a great stay.
The location was convenient to the interstate and about 15 minutes to the airport. The long is currently going through renovations but is large and open. Room appeared to be recently renovated and were more than passable. I did not eat at the hotel but the airport shuttle was nice and quick. Staff was very friendly.
The location is a bit hidden and a bit strange to get too. However the inside of the building was OK but nothing special. Plenty of room and I loved how it was separate from the actual hotel location for the events. I didn't see any actual rooms just the large social rooms. They seem like they would be a great place to throw a small business party or event.
I haven't stay there yet, but I'm scheduled to come in Aug spoke with a friendly bubbly woman she was so helpful. I inquired about romantic setups that the hotel offered as well as the availability of bed sizes and if I could be place in a room with a view of the moutains. She was so helpful which I was thankful for I believe she stated her name was Miss Lenaya.. I'm now looking forward to this trip to Colorado even more 🙌🙌👌
What an amazing place! The staff is first class. We were there for my son's trip to the Colorado Children's Hospital and the welcomed us like family!!! I can not say enough good thing about everyone!!! I will never stay anywhere else when I'm in the area!! A+++++++
I booked this hotel online and one of the main reasons was because the website said "24 hour airport shuttle". (I had a 6:30am flight the next day with 2 small children and that was super convenient.)
I called to reserve my shuttle for the early morning flight, and was told they didn't do shuttles on the weekend. I was very irritated and said, "Your website says "24 hour shuttle, that's the main reason I booked with you. You should make sure people know there isn't a shuttle on the weekend!"
I was answered with, "Well, we only have one driver. We're looking for another driver to hire. I can't work my one driver 7 days a week."
As if it were MY fault they were understaffed. I had to call and pay for airport transportation. I could've found a different hotel that did actual 24 hr airport shuttle like the website said. I also reserved a 2 queen bed, only got one king (not too big of a deal, we all just slept in one bed.) They were also doing construction (also not mentioned online) and started early in the morning with loud, irritating noise. Overall, not very satisfied with this hotel.
I was there for a work training. So I didn't pay for it. That being said, the staff are extremely nice and accommodating! The room was clean. The carpet in the hallways needs to be updated. Over all a good place.
We come to Denver for medical and the last thing we want to do is worry about our hotel. Upon checking in to our room the front desk staff were very pleasant and greeted my family with a smile & with warm chocolate chip cookies, which most definitely made our day since we had been driving for 10 hours. When we got to Our room it was clean, the maid/maintenance staff were very friendly. Every morning the breakfast staff greeted us with a smile and a very pleasant attitude. We were very pleased with our stay at Double Tree and would most definitely recommend to others. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF FOR MAKING OUR STAY DURING MY SON'S MEDICAL TRIP A LITTLE LESS STRESSFUL! 😊
