Don't let the quaint looking cabins fool you. They operate like luxury suites. The owners have obviously given great attention to detail. Perfect.

The most beautiful hand crafted cabins I've ever seen. Wonderful staff. Very clean and cozy cabins. Close to a lot of lakes and the general store. Our absolute favorite vacation spot.

What a great get away in the Polar Bear Palace! The cabin was very clean. The owners Bobbi and Troy stayed to show us some in and outs of the cabin and grounds upon our arrival. They also provided some great info about local beaches and lakes for our family. I highly recommend venturing out to White Sand Lake- find the path and you won't be disappointed! The kids had a great time riding around the grounds and bikes are provided if needed. The resort is not as far off the road as I had expected but certainly not a deal breaker for this fantastic place. Troy and Bobbi even took us out on their boat. Great restful yet outdoor fun to be found in Boulder Junction. Plenty to do in the area from hiking to biking, fishing and shopping. The owners can offer great suggestions for whatever you're looking for!

The cabins are absolutely beautiful. The Polar bear cabin accommodated our entire family of 6 adults and 5 young children with plenty of room. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone.

big bear is the greatest place you can stay in the north woods in winter or summer the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet

My favorite place on the planet! Big Bear Hideaway and Boulder Junction are perfect for being active; perfect for relaxing. Each cabin is a work of art. The bike trail is the best in the world - period. Bobbie and Troy are excellent hosts. You simply can't pick a better place to vacation.

I have been here with my family multiple times and I have had a blast every time. The owners are nice and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The cabins were built from scratch and everything is so beautiful up here. We did a lot of fun stuff the whole week and we will be coming back again.
