Lovely cafe, great selection, and lively on a Saturday morning. This shop has a variety of milks for coffees, including non-dairy, which was a plus! College vibe and hip atmosphere.

The ladies in my family come every Friday morning after Thanksgiving when we're all in town. Lots of options for the wide range of coffee and tea drinkers. Even have gluten free snacks for my aunt with Celiac's. Friendly service, and lots of seating space

The coffee beverages are totally top notch! They use Dean's Beans, the official beans of the coffee gods! The staff is usually pleasant. I always enjoy seeing the latest art for sale. The owners are nice folks as well. It's a bit of a drive from home, but for a serious coffee fan, it is worth going out of the way. 🤓

Hands down , absolutely the best coffee and freshest pastries . Went two days in a row because it was so good . If you are a chocolate lover I recommend their chocolate cherry cookies , heat it up for 15 seconds , melts in your mouth.

Hands down my favorite place to grab a coffee, sit down , and get to work. Great music playing on the radio, excellent staff, and delicious coffee (and other drinks). Perfect for a chat with friends, studying, or just caffeinating.

First off, the atmosphere alone is wonderful. Their coffee and other products are also great and extremely tasty. The only downside is how busy they can get, which honestly isn't exactly a bad thing.

Always a favorite place to meet. Good coffee drinks and fruit smoothies, etc. Limited food options, but lynch or dinner nearby. Classic Athens: a little funky, a little quirky. Music performances, open Mic, spoken word. What's not to love?

I love Donkey! Great customer service, wide variety of drinks, strong coffee, relaxing atmospherelate, and late hours are just a few aspects of what Donkey is . What more could you ask for from a coffee house? No matter who you are, you'll feel right at home and welcomed here.

Funky coffeehouse near Ohio University. Lots of small rooms winding through. Interesting art and more interesting crowd. Students, families, retirees, travelers. Nice drink and pastry selection. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Donkey Coffee is a popular place not only with the Ohio University crowd, but the locals as well. The coffee is prepared by knowledgeable and friendly staff. There is ample space to sit and chat with a friend or work on an assignment, especially with the second floor seating. Music is playing throughout the space to create a relaxed atmosphere. If java and caffeine are not your think, they have wide selection of teas (ask for the menu) and a variety of snacks and juices.
