Great family oriented park with tons to do and see. Many items from years past to enjoy including old cars and a beautiful old steam engine. The staff was very friendly as we bought our tickets and entered the park. Ticket prices are reasonable compared to some places. They offer stroller and scooter rentals so you don't have to worry about dragging yours along unless you just want to. They also offer to take your souvenirs to their main exit building so you don't have to carry them all over the park while your there. plenty of food options and tons of rides for the young and old alike. If my family lived closer we would definitely invest in a season pass. Only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because lack of bathrooms and some rides didn't have enough staff to run them, not a huge issue but should have some looking into.

Growing up near Six Flags over Georgia I was not sure what to expect of Dollywood. I honestly thought it would be a step up from a state fair. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is a great family amusement park. Smaller than six flags but has some great rides and a better theme feel. My kids love it! The nightly fireworks are awesome.

We are from Orlando Florida, the home of amusement parks and we were blown away by this place. The staff was super friendly, way friendlier than the happiest place on earth and the talent in the shows were unbelievable. We went during the Christmas time frame and the decorations were beautiful the shows were all designed around Christmas and the rides were still running. I would highly recommend this place to any one of my friends, family or anyone asking. This is a will and must return for my family.

Had a wonderful time. Very nice park! Loved all the different food and snacks. Wait time for rides was typically less than 10. I was really impressed with all of the roller coasters. They were all well kept and very fun!! Staff was nice. Really enjoyed all of the Christmas lights and shows! Will definitely be going back.

Dollywood is such a nice family oriented amusement park. There’s plenty to do for everyone. Rides for the children, wonderful food, and beautiful shows for adults and children alike. The price is very reasonable and well worth it. Having a season ticket is a great bargain, each festival offers a different venue that is interesting to all walks of life. The park is exceptionally clean, bathrooms are available everywhere. The park is handicapped and wheelchair accessible. One can rent wheelchairs and strollers if needed and it is a safe environment. There are plenty of shops with craftsman tool gifts and souvenirs. It is no wonder that folks from all over the United States come to visit Dollywood in the heart of the smoky mountains.

If you plan to visit more than once a year i highly suggest a season pass. It is definitely worth it. The park itself is amazing. Plenty of excitement for all ages. They have an event once a year called "Rock the Smokies" where they have a bunch of Christian bands. My family and I go every year and its some of the most fun weve ever had.

Tons and tons of fun. Completely wonderful and an overall great experience. Great to go with in groups. With that being said I'm not a 6 year old who is not talk enough to rise all of the rides I might want to so I wouldn't recommend it for young children plus they probably won't remember the experience. Also there are NO VEGAN OPTIONS, but you can leave the park to eat and return without repaying.

Dollywood has really stepped up their ride options since we last visited several years ago. We have always enjoyed Thunder Head, but the new wooden coaster, Lightening Bolt is even better! We visited on a Thursday hoping for fewer guests, but it was still pretty crowded. Nonetheless, we didn't wait more than 30 minutes for any ride. For a theme park, that is pretty decent. We saw a couple of shows and they were top-notch!

Pros
- A variety of rides for all ages.
- Specialty shops sell both child and adult aged souvenirs, including quality home decor.
- Inexpensive for an amusement park (tickets, food, & souvenirs).
- Staff are friendly, the shows/music are worth seeing, and the overall atmosphere is a delight.
- Food served at the restaurants is good but make sure you get on the waiting list early when lunch time approaches.
- Crowds aren't bad unless you are going during the busy season. I aim for weekdays.

Cons
- People smoke in nonsmoking areas. I've heard this is a TN thing and I don't know if people are merely ignorant or just apathetic but neither are a good excuse. For someone with asthma, holding a baby, this can be VERY frustrating.

Great entertainment spot. If you want to watch shows, eat, and potentially go on some rides this place is for you.

The shows are a little hard to align with a schedule so don't plan on seeing everything in one day and just have fun.

Rides are not bad I didn't do most of them do to trying to put more of an emphasis on the shows. But the ones I went on like lightning rod & wild eagle were both good.

Food wise we went to aunt grannies all you care to eat buffet and its wasn't my favorite but they have a good taco bar and they know how to set up huge parties of people which are a plus.

Overall I'm glad I went.

What a great place, great for all ages. I did not give higher though due to there being a lot of smoking areas. As well as some bathrooms only accessible through those smoking areas. Also, no changing tables in the men's bathrooms. I guess in Tennessee that's a woman's job. Also several staff members should not be placed in customer services positions. We love Dolly and all she does for the community though.

I wasn't looking forward to going to 'another' amusement park. I'm so glad I did! This park is wonderful in that it's well designed, very clean and maintained. The staff was friendly and seemed to really be enjoying their jobs. That was refreshing! There were many things to enjoy for varying age levels. I also loved that they employed young and old. Great park!

Great family fun. Very friendly, prompt and courteous staff, I never once saw one the staff on a cell phone. The "time ahead pass" is well worth it if you plan on riding lots of rides. Lots of good food, I wish I lived closer so we could have season passes. The park was very clean and well maintained. The train ride makes me give this place a four star instead of a 5, if you ride the train be prepared to get coal soot on your clothes and some blow back in you eyes if you sit in the front cars of the train. Make sure to catch a show or two while you are there also.

This is such a fun place to go. Just walking around the park is an enjoyment. I personally liked the candy store. And I really loved how kind the staff was, no matter where you went! A family friendly place, with awesome rides, and also the entire park is EXCEPTIONALLY clean! I definitely recommend!

I have a daughter who is autistic and Dollywood is definitely autistic friendly location. Not only did they have a disability pass to make it easier to get on and off the rides. They also have a quite room in case of sensory overload. Equipped with weighted blankets, as other calming tools for autistic children. They also allow service dogs along with locations for the service dog to use the bathroom throughout the park. All of this along with very awesome and professional services. Love this place.
