I paid in full through Dolberry Realty for a rental at Venture Out VO-218 from 9/2/17 through 9/8/17. We were given a MANDATORY evacuation order on 9/6/17 with the impending Hurricane Irma which means I lost out on 2 days days of stay. Was told by Dolberry Realty that I would NOT be getting a refund for my last 2 days because I did not purchase vacation insurance. I could understand if it was a VOLUNTARY evacuation but this was MANDATORY. Was told that it was the owners decision not to refund my money. Are you kidding me ? Where is the compassion ? I feel a lawsuit coming !
Great Keys Realtor
We had a very good experience staying here last year. This year is completely different. I know they have no control over the rolling power outages from the construction going on. The pump to the pool is not working. So not having the ability to use it makes for a horrible experience.
They should make people aware that are booking a place that they might not have electricity some time during the stay. I would recommend you call them with questions before you book. Like I said before, Last year was great. I would still recommend staying here because it is one of the best deals around as for price. I just hope they get all the problems fixed for next year.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. I Rented a house through them for this weekend. Got here they lied to us and told us it was a 2 bedroom. No one will help us, electric and water is NOT WORKING. NO WATER. we had a long day and everyone needs to shower but we can't. And the cable isn't working.
