Charged me $40 to mount and balance two tireswhen they put my car on the lift the lifted from the steering rackI said "that's not where you lift a car from you're going to damage my steering rack" he continued and luckily nothing broke. A few weeks later I showed up around 9am and asked if they could press two wheel bearings onto an axle and I would pay them $40. The assistant manager mechanic guy lied and said "oh man that's going to take a few hours". I told him it would literally only take 2-3 minutes. He walked off and acted like I was a dumbass. So, I went across the street to the other business who is also a mechanic. They pressed on the wheel bearings for $20 and it literally took them under 3 minutes. For these reasons I will never go back to Doering Automotive. I also won't let any of my family members take their vehicles to Doering Automotive. What they didn't know is that I'm a mechanic myself. I was only there because I don't own a shop press and tire balancing machines. They lost business for lying and acting rude for absolutely no reason. I know my complaint won't change anything but thought I would share my experience.

We were traveling and had a flat. We were told by someone local that this was best place to take it. They fixed it in no time and we were on our way. Very helpful and not expensive.

Only place we could find within 30 miles to do exhaust work. Service was quick, reasonable, and friendly.

My great grandfather, Arthur Doering, who was a blacksmith by trade, made his living shoeing horses; however when cars became more affordable and thus more common, he converted his small blacksmith shop into a tire and automotive repair business. Doering Tire Incorporated has been family owned and operated since that day, and we continue to strive to meet the automotive repair needs of our rapidly-growing community. We are incredibly grateful to our customers and to everyone who [like us] is fortunate enough to call the City of Foley their home - we also feel truly blessed that, due to your continued support, in less then 3 years we will be celebrating our 100th anniversary [in 2020]!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS IF I COULD! I took my car to Doering Tire to replace the clutch and change the oil and oil filter in my 2005 Honda Accord. They said it would take one day to complete. They kept my car five business days and charged me $538.50 in labor and $414.35 in parts. I was also charged $50.00 to resurface the flywheel, which I was not informed of, or asked. I only found out it was done upon reading my receipt. I don't know if it was necessary or even if it was actually done. My total after taxes was $1038.56. Every day, I called to check on it, they would tell me it would be finished tomorrow. I came to find out that they had broke a piece of my car and had to get a machine shop to fix it. They never told me that on the phone, they just always assured me it would be tomorrow. When I went to pick it up, the told me it took so long because they had broken a part of the car. Also, the sunroof was left open and it was raining. They actually called me to tell me the sun roof was open, and I had to ask them to cover it or close it. It was raining! The interior was wet when I got in it. It leads me to believe that they had been riding around in my car and accidentally left the roof open, since no work was actually performed in the cabin of the car. When I got home, I checked the oil and discovered it was low on oil and the oil was black, meaning it had never been changed. The old oil filter was still installed as well. I have pictures of the unchanged oil and oil filter for proof.

Nathan at Doering was extremely helpful in figuring why my Suzuki XL7 check engine light was on. Not only did he tell me what was wrong but he also told me how I can fix it myself.
