Just beautiful at Christmastime. The gingerbread house is amazing. It is 17' tall in the main lobby of the hotel. There is a Christmas Tree in the lobby also that is almost 3 stories tall. We were able to see Mickey & Minnie in their Victorian Christmas garb by the tree. And we got our pictures taken. A truly Grand hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel. It has a poll with bucket spill and it is architecturally stunning. The lobby is old southern charm with new clean look. Christmas they make a ginger bread house that is big enough for a store. The lobby also has a giant Christmas tree. Festive and lively, visit or stay

Always love visiting The Grand Floridian Resort. The grounds are so beautiful and clean. The decorations at Christmas Time are fabulous, especially the gingerbread house. Always find something to buy for myself, my family, and or my friends in their unique shops. The personnel here are first class with their knowledge and helpfulness. Everyone must visit Basin White to find great fragrant bath products as shampoos, soaps, hand cleansers and scrubs and much more. A resort not to be missed!

Amazing resort! Our first time staying here and it's now one of our favourites! We had a room on the second floor overlooking the wedding pavilion. Super easy access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The pools were lovely (though the cast members were more attentive at the pool near the villas than the main pool) and the Sun loungers the best on property! The only thing that could make it better is having a drink station in the DVC building.

We went to see the huge gingerbread house. What an amazing thing to see! But what impressed me more was how clean and bright everything was. From the lobby to the stores to the monorail loading zone, the cleanliness and fresh looks we're very appealing. Can't wait to book a stay there soon!

What a great hotel! Stayed here with my wife after we had gotten married at Disney. Special shout out to the Disney's Fairytale Wedding group for getting us a room with a perfect view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Also, the staff really wants everything to be perfect for you, they will try to meet most of your requests. The Citricos staff was also especially accommodating when seating us! Will definitely stay again!

The Hotel is always impeccably clean and smells amazing. The fresh flowers are such a nice touch. The staff is always polite and courteous. It was a pleasant surprise to see Richard still greeting guests. We always bring out of town guests to visit the Grand Floridian.

The Floridian has you covered if your family is looking for a genuine Disney experience with a little southern charm. The vintage Victorian style of the hotel is displayed within the rooms by their cathedral ceilings, lakeside view, and classic decor. The amenities are also extraordinary with ungraded bath products in reach room and plenty of upscale restaurants within walking distance. The main building also has plenty of small shops setup like a mall in the second floor, in addition to a spa nearby with plenty of options to relax. Your family will also have front row seats to the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom every night, seated near the waterfront, with optional roasted marshmallows near the beach area. Also, the monorail is connected to the resort for easy access to each park, although buses DO NOT return to the Florian from Epcot later in the evening, so be prepared to wait in line for the monorail, or take a third party ride service. You really can't go wrong with staying here during your vacation, although it can get expensive fast. I would suggest trying the other deluxe hotels as well because each one has their own pros.

Beautiful hotel. The band and piano were great but, allowing me to dance with my daughter in the spacious foyer. Attended a princess dinner with my children. It was a great experience all around. The characters are fantastic. The buffet food was decent. Service was a bit slow. Given the southern charm of the mansion I was amazed there was no sweet tea. Overall still a great experience.

We went there for the Cinderella character dinner. The dinner itself is a buffet style dinner. The spread was good. So was the service. The highlight of the evening was the various characters that came to each table and met the guests which were a huge hit. They includes Cinderella, her step sisters, her step mother and prince charming. The hotel itself is a short boat ride across from Magic Kingdom. It is recommended to book an early dinner if you want to make it back in time for the night show.

We went to have a baby shower in the tea room and had high tea. The food was great and the tea was great, however it was a lot of sugar in course 2 and dessert was course 3! It would be nice to be able to swap in cheese for the dessert at the end or have something a little bit more Savory other than just the sandwiches in the first round. The location is beautiful and the service is great. Live music the whole time we were there was beautiful.

A bucket's list must. I strongly recommend staying on New Year's Eve. I also recommend staying in the main building with the club level option. The club level provides snacks and beverages including beer. If you have little ones is totally worth it. Also I recommend staying in a room that has park views. We were able to watch the fireworks from our room every night. It was the best New Years ever. I can't wait to be back.

The hotel is breathtaking and the atmosphere is incredible. We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare. The character interaction was perfect, especially the step mother and sisters! The food was (mostly) delicious, not worth the price tag on its own, but the characters made the experience amazing! Our kids thought it was the best thing ever! If you have kids, this is a must do!!!

The Grand Floridian is the plush side of the deluxe resorts. With a Victorian feel it definitely sets itself aside from the others. Like all Disney resorts the rooms are nice and spacious. We stayed in a handicap accessible room so the bathroom was just a little bit bigger than usual. The resort iself is large( like all the deluxe resorts), so it a walk to do most anything. Disney service is always a pleasure. They know how to make you feel like your at home, and with the Magic Kingdom being the first stop on the monorail it makes for easy access to the most iconic part of all of Disney World.

Barb and Carol were OUTSTANDING! We showed up very early in the morning after quite a long drive. They did everything possible to accommodate us. All the staff is so friendly and the food in the restaurants is delicious! Rooms are a great size. Amenities are wonderful.
