An organization I'm on the board for planned an event here and pre-ordered a specific item for us to paint, and they accidentally sent it to the wrong location. I showed up early to set up and when they realized there was a miscommunication someone from the Stonecrest location drove our items over and got them to us in time for our event
Snooty, young and inexperienced manager and staff. Lost a customer. Don't bother
Awesome place and awesome staff! I had time to kill while my husband was here in Charlotte on business. I spent a very relaxing afternoon making a mosaic cross and chatting with the friendly and helpful staff. So much more fun than just shopping :)
Fun but so expensive. I brought my six-year-old here for fun on a Saturday and he loved painting pottery. The staff was less than friendly, talking loudly to each other and to a friend of theirs and not very interested in helping customers. It was freezing cold to the point of being uncomfortable. We still had a good time but it ended up costing $50! Ouch.
I was interested in enrolling in one of their pottery wheel classes, unfortunately I was told by the manager that she "no longer offers wheel classes" and to "go to Pottery Central". I was given no information as to why they stopped classes. If they don't offer it, they should update their website which clearly states: "Dish it Out at Park Towne Village is excited to now offer private pottery classes". Apparently not true.
Also I was surprised to be directed to a competitor instead. Not only was it disappointing, but rather unprofessional.
